  We booked the tour privately with a buggy (5 hours, 350 €) and had a guide who drove ahead. The route was varied and offered insights into the landscape of Akamas National Park , not far pure, but up to Larabay – overall a beautiful experience. However, we would have expected more individuality from a private tour. It was only operated according to plan, with long, specific stops and a 35-minute lunch break in a less attractive place with groups – although we had explicitly stated that we did not want lunch. Especially with a private booking, it would have been nice if something more had been taken into account – for example, more driving, less waiting. Overall good, but with room for improvement in the flexibility and service thoughts of the young guide.

  A fun way to visit the Turtle Beach site, lunch at Lara bay and the off into the hills above the Akamas Penninsula. This is the way to go to this beach. A few people were heading with cars but the track is very rough. Our guide was very relaxed and friendly. A very dusty ride so take a face covering and wear clothes you don’t mind getting dusty.   A fun day out for anyone. We went as a couple but equally as good for families of all ages. We had been due to go on the Akama tour but were told that we would be the only ones on the tour and asked whether we would go on the Adonis baths tour instead. We agreed, and whilst it wasn't exactly what we had planned, it was great to see scenery and more rural Cyprus. Tip - If travelling by car or taxi, go straight to the Agios Georgios Road address.   Booked these through TUI and the team did not disappoint they made it fun and very enjoyable, staff were very attentive and extremely polite, there was 2 buggys in front of my son and i with young french men messing about and the team dealt with it swiftly and took action. I cannot recommend this enough and I will certainly be back and one of my excuses to come back to Cyprus as that's the best excursion and experience my son and I have had. Thank you so much to the team You are a credit to your business explaining the history and giving us time to explore with enough time. As well as looking after our safety at all times.   I had an amazing day out with my son exploring some hidden gems. It was a real treat to see these off-the-beaten-path sights. One tip I can give you is to grab a cheap T-shirt and shorts from a local store. It can get a bit dusty out there, you don’t want to trash your best kit. The guides were fantastic! They had a wealth of knowledge and made the tour really enjoyable.

  Cannot believe that anyone has put bad reviews on Golden Rides quad bikes safaris! Our experience of this company has only been positive and we have done several safaris and also rented quad bikes from them over the last few years. We have thoroughly enjoyed it all and found the staff and the experience amazing. So much so that we had a private safari today and it was the highlight of our holiday so far. Totally recommend Golden Rides and already looking forward to quad biking with them next year!

  Our experience with Golden Ride Rentals & Safari was not only disappointing — it was downright disturbing. The owner is aggressively confrontational, and the staff are rude, hostile, and seem entirely comfortable shouting at and threatening customers. Sadly, after reading other reviews, it’s clear this is part of a long-standing pattern of behavior. My partner booked a ride with them during Easter while visiting with our kids. When he returned the vehicle, the staff accused him of driving through a restricted area and demanded a €100 fine. The problem? This “restriction” was never clearly explained, and he had taken the exact same route during a previous rental with no issue. Despite disputing the charge, my partner offered to pay the fine to avoid conflict. But instead of resolving the situation, the owner suddenly appeared and began screaming aggressively at him. When I calmly asked him not to shout, he turned his rage toward me, yelling in my face and pointing aggressively — all while two large dogs circled nearby, making the situation even more intimidating. To make things worse, they then refused to return our €500 deposit, forcing us to go to the local police station and file a report for fraudulent behavior. Only then did they reluctantly return the money. Afterward, we read many more reviews describing similar treatment, confirming this company is not just unprofessional — they are habitual scammers who rely on intimidation when customers don’t blindly comply. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially for a business catering to tourists and families. There are many trustworthy rental companies in the area. Do yourself a favor — stay far away from this one.

  The tour was very organised and made you feel very safe. The places they took you to were very nice and had good views. The 5 hours went very quickly and the whole team were friendly.

  Great ATV Tour. We went middle of March and it was still warm-ish. About 60-65 degrees fareheit. Did have to bring a jacket. And there were others on the tour which was good. It was really fun with a three person buggy going up a mountain. Still too cold to go in the water, but by far this was best experience I had in Cyprus. I really wish there was an option for a windscreen because wind is constantly blowing on your face.

  A great off road adventure. We rented a top seated buggy which was alot of fun. The guide and staff were really friendly and helpful. I would recommend wearing something that you don't mind getting dirty and a face covering is definitely required. I would also recommend using the pick up/drop off service.
