Tip: We recommend booking on weekdays for a quieter experience and a higher chance of spotting wildlife. However, if the weekend is your only option, don’t worry—you’ll still enjoy an amazing tour!
Wildlife sightings aren’t guaranteed since animals roam freely and are influenced by weather, time of day, and season.
Tour duration may be affected by traffic, especially in a busy city like Rio, where congestion can sometimes extend the tour time. We STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST booking on days with important commitments (flights, tours, etc.) as delays are possible. Morning tours typically offer a smoother experience.
Itinerary is subject to change based on various factors such as the park's regulations, prevailing natural conditions, and the physical capabilities of the group.
From May to October, reduced rainfall can impact the flow of certain waterfalls, affecting the itinerary. Please note that photos are for reference only and may reflect conditions during the wetter months.
Rainy weather does not affect the scheduled tour of the forest, which is known to be more enchanting and lively during such weather. The waterfalls are more magnificent and the chances of spotting wild animals increase during rainfall. Visitors are guaranteed a safe and unforgettable experience in the forest, regardless of the weather conditions.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

The forest was great, great sights and adventures. Really enjoyed all the stops! On the other hand, the guide and company weren’t the best. They contacted me for the first time to let me know my pick up time just 2 hours before the event, even though I booked this like 2 weeks ago. The guide forgot one of the persons of the group in one of the stops, they didn’t realize until her brother (who didn’t notice either, but that’s another subject) mentioned it in the next stop. It was really hard to understand the guide in Spanish or english, but besides that he didn’t guide much, we were looking forward to see some animals, but didn’t see any. Having all these in mind, I would still recommend this activity since I enjoyed the park, I believe this was just an unfortunate event for me I guess they have other guides since they still have great reviews.

An excellent walk through the Tijuca National Park with many beautiful waterfalls and the opportunity to see wildlife. We saw spiders, snakes, marmosets. Scrambling through the dark bat cave was quite an experience. Thanks to our guide Eduardo for a great tour!

Omgee! My mother and I had never been hiking and this was an experience for the books. We had the most amazing time. Samuel was extremely good and informative. This experience does require a lot of walking so please wear comfortable hiking shoes. We had the chance to see caves, monkeys, toucans, and the beautiful waterfall. Please book Samuel; you won’t regret it!

This was a fun and great way to see the forest with a nice hike and some great sights of the city. Pedro was the best guide! He had great communication for the pick up and was a cool guy to talk to! Highly recommend.
