My family and I had a great time! It was really cool getting to try so many types of ramen in one outing - really allows you to compare and experience the differences in the various ramen styles/flavors. We also learned a ton! Our guide Brian was so knowledgeable, engaging, and personable - we had a lot of fun chatting and exploring the shibuya area with him. Highly recommend!!

We had a lovely Ramen Tour with Brian. He picked some very interesting spots and shared how history shaped the various styles. If you see a green Ramen, try it! Fun fact: Slurping your Ramen is polite!

What a wonderful, educational and DELICIOUS way to eat and learn about the origins of ramen! I had no idea that there was so much history and culture associated with this dish! Come prepared to eat, walk and learn! And if you’re lucky enough to get BRIAN as your guide, even better!

The ramen tasting is the perfect introduction to the ramen scene in Tokyo. In this tour you get the original flavors along with some culinary choices you may not otherwise experience. Brian was an incredible guide with the personality and knowledge to make for a great evening.

My two adult sons and I participated in this ramen tasting tour. The ramen was wonderful and trying 6 different varieties was really fun (and tasty!) Our guide, Makayla, was friendly, talkative and knowledgeable. We especially enjoyed the strolls between the restaurant stops. Chatting with Makayla and hearing about her experiences in Tokyo was a highlight of the tour that I hadn’t anticipated, but one that I truly appreciated. Thanks Makayla!

My wife and daughter went on the Ramen tour with Brian a few weeks ago. I was a bit nervous when we first met as he was an American and I thought oh dear how legit is this going to be...thankfully...pretty legit. Brian whisked us through a giant underground food court en route to our first stop. He spoke fluent Korean and was immensely knowledgeable and passionate about Ramen. He was a man with a plan and and we quickly made our way around the town for the remaining stops. He was, in short, awesome. We also received other recommendations for the remainder of our trip and are grateful for the time spent with him. Definitely come hungry for this tour (and bring a rain jacket!).

This review is delayed but definitely can’t deny that this was the most memorable tour we had in Tokyo. Bunga was so fun and informative. A bit pricey but worth it since we got to sample so many different ramen bowls. Delicious!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brian was an excellent guide—informative, engaging, and clearly very passionate about ramen. He did a great job explaining the differences between styles, ingredients, and neighborhoods, which made the experience feel thoughtful rather than rushed. The food itself was fantastic. Each mini bowl was delicious and distinct, and it was the perfect way to try multiple styles without feeling overwhelmed. This tour deepened my appreciation for ramen, and I can’t wait to dig into even more ramen while I’m in Tokyo. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves food or wants a great introduction to Tokyo’s ramen scene.
