In the water, your PADI Professional will help you regain comfort and confidence in scuba diving.

You’ll practice a few safety-related skills and then go over anything you specifically want to review.

It makes you familiar to diving again, so that you really feel comfortable under water.

What To Expect

It is quite a long time ago that you have been diving for the last time? Do you feel that your diving skills and your knowledge have faded a bit rusty? Then you should take a Refresher Dive with us! Certification minimum: Scuba Diver One REFRESHER DIVE (one boat ride with one boat dive at one dive spot) or two REFRESHER DIVES (one boat ride with two dives at two different dive spots with a surface interval on the boat) with own or rental dive equipment (BCD, Regulator, Mask, Fins, Wetsuit) with one of our Dive Masters or Dive Instructors. Our morning dives start every day at 9 am and our afternoon dive(s) start every day at 2 pm. For the morning dive(s), you have to be at our Diving Centre at 8.30 am for registration. You will be back from the dive(s) at around 10.30 am / 12.30 pm depending on number of dives and distance of the dive sites. For the afternoon dive(s) you have to be at our Diving Centre at 1.30 pm for registration. You will be back from the dive(s) at around 3.30 pm / 5 pm depending on number of dives and distance of the dive sites.

Diving with divinguru was a very good experience. We were very well briefed, equipment was inngood shape and everything worked out nicely. I was pleasantly surprised that tehty took a few photos and sent them to us. Group was small and guide was one of the best. Diving in Nilaveli in October was better than expected. Conditions ok and no crowds whatsoever.

I decided to try diving again after a break of 12 years. I picked Nilaveli and Diving Guru after a little bit of research and I’m so glad I did. I’ve had a wonderful time. After my 2 refresher dives I went on to do 7 fun dives, my enriched air certification and a snorkelling trip to Pigeon Island with them. They are very professional but also very friendly. From the very beginning all of the staff made me feel welcome. My instructor for the refresher dives was very clear, patient and reassuring about how it would all come back to me. As was the instructor who I did my enriched air diving with. All of the guides for the fun dives were excellent at spotting wildlife which was amazing (huge moray eels, lion fish, puffa fish, sting rays and so many more) and really caring of the natural environment. The dive sites were all wonderful and varied. I am a solo traveller and just hung out at the dive centre after my dives for the rest of the day, using the sun loungers, having dips in the sea, fresh water showers and using the restaurant (20 % discount for diving with them). I always felt welcome. I can’t recommend them enough.

Superb experience from booking, answering questions (thanks Ellie) and the professional dive set up! Elle our Dive Guide was superb. So patient with us all, especially my son who was nervous! Allowing us to have an amazing family experience!
