We picked this experience for three reasons: 1) see the reindeer, 2) learn a bit about the Sami culture, and 3) a chance to see the northern lights away from the city lights. We achieved all three!!!! The reindeer were really cool, and feeding was very relaxed. These reindeer for fairly tame. We learned of the culture in the nice heated "tepee" and had our reindeer stew meal in the same. Our sled ride, although only 15 minutes, was perfect and we saw something not often seen..a shooting star blast through the aurora in a streak of fire ...once in a lifetime, and certainly you cannot plan for that, but if you are in the right place at the right time......Yes it is bit expensive ($215 pp), but it was very nice.

Although, due to lack of snow, we didn't enjoy a reindeer sleigh ride, we enjoyed everything else. The feeding, the reindeer stew, Sami stories and of course we had a glimpse of the Northern Lights. A discount was offered. A great night.

Everything from beginning to end was fantastic. The reindeer feeding time together was so much fun! The Sami talk was great and very cool to learn about their culture.

Unfortunately the Reindeer sledding was cancelled day before, a partial refund will be sent from my understanding but it didnt feel like it was very well organised as half the group still went on a reindeer trip. The rest of us were left more or less hanging around. We understand that welfare of the reindeer comes first but they could have gave everyone a short trip rather than just half the group having a long ride.

The reindeer sleigh ride was a lot of fun. It was a still and quiet night and an enjoyable sleigh ride. Feeding the reindeer was also fun, but a majority of them wouldn’t eat from being full from prior tour groups feeding them.

The Sami talk was brilliant. John was very interesting and knowledgeable I wish he was involved more. The rest of the experience was slow and felt a bit unorganised. Which left us feeling a bit bored. Also the event felt overbooked and crowded, it was uncomfortable I think if they sold 10 less tickets it would have been so much more enjoyable. Communal dining is fine but not if it feels as though you’re sat on strangers knees. It felt understaffed for the amount of staff. The reindeer seemed bored of being fed too and the sled ride was short/ didn’t venture far out. Overall a lot of money when the only enjoyable part was the Sami talk with John who can’t be praised enough, he would get 5 stars but unfortunately the rest was below average and would get 0 stars

Experience was incredible. Reindeer are friendly. It's a 45-50 min bus ride to Lapland. When you arrive, you are brought into a large room with tables. Chocolate chip and Oreo (they are vegan) cookies are available on the table with a thermos of hot water. You can choose from tea, instant coffee, or hot chocolate. They had both a reindeer stew and a vegetarian stew. A large bus brings you there. You share the bus with others going solely to feed the reindeer. Dress warmly. There are cute little huts with fires that are very warm. But if you get too cold, you can go inside the building to warm up. The sledding was super fun.

It was well organized. The Sami talk was very informative. The Reindeer sledding was really fun and it was very surreal for us because the Northern lights were out during our ride. The only issue was the toilets and that is not the fault of the tour company or the location. It is from disgusting people that pee all over the toilet and floor so a woman cannot possibly use them without cleaning up the area first.
