Night-time sky, hopefully printed with green waves from the Northern Lights enjoyed together with reindeer. After the outdoor session become better acquainted with the Saami culture through tasting some typical Saami food, hearing traditional Saami singing and seeing some authentic handmade artifacts still used today.
* If conditions change we keep the right to amend the duration of the sled-ride or even cancel this part of the tour.
* All animals used for these services are trained for the activity, however, the behavior of animals can be unpredictable and therefore it is essential that all participants follow all given instructions for their safety, and the safety of others.
*Each reindeer and sled are bound together in a long row with the lead reindeer in the front.
* Sleds are shared, 2 participants on one sled.
*Reindeer Sledding is subject to snow and if weather conditions don't allow us to run the sled-ride we will offer you a partial refund.

*IMPORTANT: The Reindeer Sledding (30 min activity) is subject to good snow conditions and sometimes we have to adjust the duration of this activity. If the weather/snow-conditions don't allow us to run the sled-ride at all, we will offer you a partial refund. It can change very quickly in the Arctic and sometimes it happens with short notice. The rest of the tour will be held as normal.

3.00The bus ride was pleasant with beautiful views. To experience the reindeer up close is undeniably an experience. That the sleigh ride was cancelled was communicated in advance and thus okay. There was no background information about the Sami at all, because suddenly it was said that we had to stop now. The electricity was just irregular and that was too uncertain. Aha, okay... Even on the bus ride (at least over an hour) no information came after....a pity, as this tour advertises insights into Sami culture and these were our main concern. Why can't the organizer bring this information? The departure took place within 5 minutes and you were literally ripped out. The food was perfectly okay, but we didn't go for that:)

5.00The guide welcomed us, and made us laugh. We were able to observe beautiful aurora borealis. The meal was very good and typically Sami. Feeding the reindeer and sledging allowed us to be closer to the animals.

5.00This was a lovely trip out of Tromso, was really special feeding the reindeers. The male leading the sleigh was very passionate about promoting how the Sami people live and this is protecting nature. There's a chance to see the Northern lights because of less light pollution we did see weak Norther light display which disappeared fairly quickly. Was very interesting to hear more about Sami ways from a younger female perspective. Reindeer stew was nice too, felt welcomed

5.00OMG. The best tour of all time. Got up close and personal with the reindeers and the reindeers sledding is a must do. The soup/stew was delicious with salt and pepper and the umami salt.

5.00Reindeer sleigh ride and feeding experience was great Meal was VERY basic. The talk from Sami gentleman interesting. Feel the large numbers of people visiting at the same time should be smaller The tent we ate in struggled to stay warm, gas heater was malfunctioning. The toilets were absolutely putrid and for the rather high price we paid, could have learned from lots by copying Australian National Park toilets

5.00One of the best excursions in Tromso. We were picked up from the Radison Blue hotel and driven to Sami Camp. There we had the opportunity to feed reindeer and take photos. Finally there was a dinner which had tasted excellent. Unfortunately, the sleigh ride had to be cancelled due to bad snow conditions. (We have received a refund for this) But that wasn't too bad. We saw beautiful northern lights on the spot.

5.00We were doubtful about this as it is quite expensive, but so glad we did it. The pick up was on time, and everything was excellent when we arrived. The reindeer sledding was a experience, and those organising it really cared about the reindeer. The feeding was fun, and the info about Sami culture was very interesting. Veg and meat soup options both good. And we were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the reindeer sledding. The company also responds quickly and helpfully to emails. Would recommend.

5.00Amazing trip! We got to spend time with the Sami people at their camp, went reindeer sledding and fed the reindeers too! Afterwards we finished off with some lovely reindeer stew and a talk about Sami culture.
