Between bars, you’ll pass landmarks like the Selarón Steps and Lapa Arches, meeting fellow travelers and locals along the way.
It’s a night that fuses iconic landmarks, local flavors, and real connection, half sightseeing, half celebration.
Expect laughter, drinks that tell stories, and a social vibe that turns strangers into friends.

It was an incredible evening. Hayza-our guide was amazing. She was a professional chef so had so much insight into the food and drink and how it is associated with the culture of Brazil. Great communication with locations and directions to our meeting point. From there we had great food and drinks all with explanations of how they relate to Brazil and it’s culture . The walk from the various locations was very easy with information offered on the way in a casual way not a stuffy tourist guide. There was lots of talking and laughing. It was as if we had known her for years and just going out with a friend. She was always making sure we were doing great and safe throughout the experience up to the point of verifying our Uber driver’s name and we were on ur way….. This was our first tour in Rio and it was a great way to start. Thank you for a great evening.

Hayza is a great guide. This experience will have you lit, but the food is really good and a nice touch to make sure you don’t get super drunk. And the Selaron Steps were empty so we got great pics!

Hayza was a fantastic guide with excellent English. She took us to 5 bars around the Lapa district and we sampled authentic cuisine and drinks. Hayza was very personable and chatty and we enjoyed hearing about her day to day life in Rio. She knows Lapa area very well and made us feel very safe. We enjoyed all of the bars she took us to, they felt very authentic and she ordered the drinks/food they were most famous for. I'd highly recommend a tour with Hayza.

The best part of our trip! We got to experience authentic Brazilian food and drinks like the locals. Carol was an amazing tour guide who navigated the tour while translating every step of the way. She took us to hidden places we wouldn’t have found on our own. We also got to experience authentic Samba and meet a local celebrity artist. Did I mention the food and drinks were amazing? Would definitely book the tour again when I return to Rio.

The best approach to really appreciate the vibrant culture of Lapa was a pub crawl. Our guide, Carol, took us through the crowded streets and to famous bars. Great food and drinks.

An amazing night at Lapa! Roberto made a fantastic pub crawl featuring local cuisine, beverages and culture. In many busy pubs with different environments, we try fried mandioca, cheese pastel and picnic spots. There was cold beer and great caipirinhas. The lively history of the neighborhood and the stories of Roberto's nightlife have increased the appeal of the night. That's how you walk around Lapa like a local!
