What To Expect
This is the perfect day to chill and cruise up the river for a spot of light fishing and sunbathing. Transport will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Banjul, where you will join your boat and captain for the day. Take time to relax and sunbathe on the top of the boat until you reach your first fishing destination. All the rods and bait are supplied, and you are ready to catch butterfish, lady fish, frog fish, gruppa, carbs, barracuda and even the odd snake! Lunch is served when you feel like it and even some of your fresh catch can be included. After a gentle cruise back late afternoon, you might even find time to drop in on the market in Banjul before returning home.

5.00Booked the fishing and had a great day out. Picked up from hotel and straight to Denton Bridge then our own boat. We caught quite a few fish had a wonderful time. Fantastic food and great chat with our guide Muhammed and our cook and captain. Really didn't want the day to end. Very relaxing and exciting too. Years since I last fished but really makes me want to go more often. Having our own boat instead of 30 odd people on other tour boats we saw was fantastic.

5.00Picked up in the morning and drove the tour crew to the boat where we went on boat and sailed the Gambia river. Then fished, and caught😃 the cook provided a delicious lunch still nice and relaxed and had good conversations after which back to hotel

5.00So I was recommended back and white safari by a friend and handnt booked anything until I arrived in banjual. So had messaged the team before hand and arranged a pick up from my hotel so I could pick the day trips I wanted . And must say the team are very friendly and very knowledgeable and has a solo traveller I felt safe and well looked after in there hands. And the guys cannot do enough to help you.and would recommend them to anyone who is coming out here to look them up all are very chatty and genuineally a lovely team which made my experience even more memorable
