Experience the Ultimate Adventure at River Rapids Jamaica in Trelawny!
Your tour starts as you meet your friendly tour guide at check in. Following check in you get geared up and follow your River guide on short walk along the river bank until you approach a beautiful area showcasing an oasis of natural waterfalls, swimming pools, and rock formations. After exploring the waterfalls its time to get into your river tube and start your exciting journey downstream.
While floating down the Rio Bueno you will encounter a fun mix of river rapids and calming currents as you travel through the jungle setting of the River Valley. Along the trip there is a chill out spot for you to jump from a platform into the Lagoon. As the river currents fade you jump into a raft for some paddling fun into the the Caribbean Sea towards Bengal Beach, a small private beach where you can relax, take a dip in the warm ocean water, and enjoy some refreshments at the beach bar.

What To Expect
Enjoy an exciting tubing adventure down the scenic Rio Bueno, a river in Jamaica. After pickup from your hotel, you’ll receive a brief overview and safety training before taking a short walk through the lush rainforest over the Irie Bridge to the launching spot. Then, jump in the water and make your way downstream! Float along the winding Rio Bueno and enjoy the twists and turns of the river. Stop for a break under bamboo trees, where you’ll have the chance to relax on the river bed, swim in the cool waters or try out the rope swing. Get back in your tube and travel over some more rushing rapids as you pass under an old stone bridge towards the Caribbean Sea. When you reach the river delta, paddle over a few small waves to get to the white-sand shores of Bengal Bay. Lounge in the sun, swim in the sea and admire the tropical landscape before heading back to your hotel. Please note: this tour cannot accept Royal Caribbean cruise ship passengers

2.00Our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. What should have been a fun, memorable excursion turned into one of the most stressful parts of our trip. Excursion Length & Check-In • The excursion lasted under 2 hours total, far shorter than what was advertised. • Check-in alone took 40 minutes, cutting significantly into our already short experience and leaving us feeling rushed and frustrated before we even began. Transportation Issues From the moment we were picked up, the transportation experience set a terrible tone: • Late Pickup: The driver was late to pick us up, which immediately put us behind schedule. • Unsafe and Unpleasant Ride: • There was a constant loud beeping noise the entire ride. • The car was in awful condition — filthy, ant-infested, worn-down, and jerking the whole way. • The driver spent the entire ride on the phone, not paying attention to the passengers’ comfort or safety. • Unprofessional Behavior: • The driver rushed us out of the car with no courtesy. • Pressured us for a tip despite the poor experience. • Made no effort to be welcoming, friendly, or professional — it was clear he didn’t want to be there. • Stranded After Excursion: After the excursion ended, we were left waiting for 30 minutes for pickup with no communication. Broken Promises We specifically asked to be taken to a certain place to eat after the excursion. The driver completely ignored our request and did not take us where we asked to go, further ruining the experience. Company’s Response After everything, we reached out to the company to request a partial refund due to the extremely poor service and multiple issues. Instead of taking accountability, the company denied our request, leaving us even more frustrated. Overall Impression This entire experience felt unprofessional, unorganized, and disrespectful of our time and money. We left feeling stressed and upset — the complete opposite of what we expected. The combination of: • A late, unsafe ride • An unprofessional driver • Being stranded after the excursion • Not being taken where we wanted to go • And having our refund request denied …made this one of the worst excursions we have ever booked. I do not recommend this company to anyone unless significant changes are made to their drivers, vehicles, scheduling, and customer service policies.

4.00From start to finish everything was amazing the Transportation had very good communication w/ us on when he would be arriving. And the guys at check in helped us w the life vests and helmets and gave us a tour of the river. Beautiful island. Only con was at the end nothing was open so it kind of was just a chill area. Overall great trip would recommend to anyone.

5.00We had a great time experience all the way through and I'd highly recommend. Now let's break it down - we were picked up at our hotel in Montego Bay and driven (about 40-45 minutes) to the river area. The driver stayed with the van to keep all valuables safe and secure and we met our guide Kertis (like Curtis) who got us outfitted with helmets, life jackets, and tubes. A quick hike (about 5-7 minutes based on your speed) with the tubes to the river mouth and a detour to enjoy a small waterfall. Then, into the tubes we go and onto the river. It's a natural river, not a man-made attraction so speed and intensity will vary depending on rainfall and river level. For us it was a somewhat low water level so nothing too intense. Kertis was with us the whole way, your safety is looked after and it's a great trip. Drop off your tubes at the end, and jump in a raft to paddle to the beach for a relaxing celebratory drink(s) (local beachside bar, not included in price). It's also where you meet the van for pickup so you can grab anything you left in there (like a wallet) to enjoy. Let's see, what else can I tell you - restroom facilities at the start and end of the journey, hiking the tubes to the river head requires ability to carry maybe 15 pounds? Scenerey is great, vibes are fantastic. The whole experience is probably about 4 - 4.5 hours with travel time. We got picked up at our resort around 9:10 and were back in time for lunch service.
