The entrance to Rock canyon is a thrilling one. Skirting the east boarder of Zion National Park, we take you through the dune like area known as Elephant Alcove compete with plenty of off road driving. Once to the trail head, Rock Canyon offers a delightful experience with four rappels, including a stunning 110-foot descent into a captivating alcove. As you approach the East Fork, the canyon turns into a lush scene with cottonwood trees and grasses. A small moderate hike out brings you right back to your vehicle.

Being on time is very important. If you are more than 15 minutes late we will have to leave without you. We are on Mountain Time and we are an hour different than Las Vegas and Arizona. Thank You!

What To Expect

This guided activity is for those seeking a bit more adventure in their life. Enjoy an hour UTV ride from Coral Pink Sand Dune State Park and into the backcountry of East Zion featuring breathtaking views, thrilling ride, and absolute solitude away from any crowds. Arriving at the trailhead your guide will help you drop into the iconic Rock Canyon Slot narrow slot canyon with a series of rappels ranging from 15 ft to 115 ft. This epic canyon will make all your friends and family back home jealous. No experience necessary, but be prepared for some adrenaline! You'll need to pack a lunch or heavy snacks and water to keep your self fueled up for the day.

Oh my gosh, I had a wonderful time. Ted was great, very helpful, fantastic sence of humor. He was great at explaining what we needed to especially to those of us that had never done it before. I would do this again.

Noah was an awesome guide. He was super engaging with my 10 year old son and catered the trip for us. Due to my son’s comfort level with the tour, he allowed us to go ‘off trail’ and do some more intense repelling

It was so cool rappelling down a slot canyon! Zage and Jack were so patient with all of us. We always felt safe and had a blast. Don't be nervous! Just try it!!

Ted was a fantastic guide explaining each step of the way and what to expect. It stretched my comfort zone immensely but he made it easy to get comfortable and over my fear of heights. I would definitely do rappelling again, although I will still maintain a good distance from unsecured cliff edges, lol.

We ended up doing the hike to the slot canyon and sand boarding and it was an extremely fun and thrilling adventure. Mikey was great. He took his time with everything and took us a bunch of different places along with what we paid for. 12/10 recommend and would do it time and time again when we come back into town

We had an amazing adventure with ROAM and Mikey. Legit sideXside ride through the desert right next to Zions Natl Park. Rappels were technical and challenging for our intermediate skill level. Scenery in the canyon was unbelievable. The descent down the rock cliff next to running waterfall is my favorite rappel in my canyoneering career :) Solid full day adventure. Plan to bring a pack with snacks and room for plenty of water. Great rappelling followed by aggressive hike out and impressive petroglyphs.

Spectacular ride on the dune buggy in a fantastic area and amazing views. That's so funny! The canyon ride was the icing on the cake. Josh was nice and welcoming.

Went on a family trip with Backroads and they scheduled the canyoneering with ROAM. Backroads always carefully selects providers so we already knew we were in great hands but these guys totally exceeded our expectations . They were experienced, excellent communicators, and worked equally well with adults & kids. I felt 100% safe on this adventure.

Our family had an amazing experience doing the rock and repel tour today! Our guide, Wyatt, was fantastic. He helped us feel comfortable and courageous for our adventures. He also gave us some great bonus rides on the dunes at the end of our tour. We loved it!
