What To Expect
Fort Hays Old West Town and Dinner Show
Experience the best entertainment package in the Black Hills! Come on out to Fort Hays Chuckwagon and pick up your tickets. You will receive a wrist band for the one of a kind Roller Coaster - Buffalo Hunt - along with tickets for the chuckwagon supper and show. Wristband is good for all day, check in for Supper between 4:30-5pm. Buffalo Hunt Coaster - This one of a kind coaster will be a ride you will never forget. Sit in your seat on the coaster and pick up your six shooter and get ready for a thrilling ride over a herd of over 20 buffalo with over 40 targets attached to them. Hit as many targets and you can and see if you can get the high score for the day. Supper and Show - Enjoy a traditional chuckwagon meal and then sit back and enjoy the Branson style variety music show by the Fort Hays Wranglers. These hall of fame musicians will have you tappin' your toes and singing along with songs you love! Buffalo Hunt Coaster is open all day - Supper is served at 6:30pm sharp!

4.00Ride was fun but does really whip you around. Arrival time was 4:00 but not enough to do until 6:15 dinner so we left and came back. Dinner was ok, about what you would expect from a chuck wagon meal. The show was fantastic, definitely worth the money.
Best show we’ve seen in years, fun fun fun!

5.00The staff were wonderful, the coaster was a hoot, the food was good, served fast and easy. But the dinner show was fabulous!!!! I haven’t seen an audience have that much fun in a long time. Great personalities , amazing musicians!! Would differently recommend!!

4.00We booked the dinner, show and rollercoaster. Only 2 out of 4 of us did the rollercoaster but they enjoyed it. The dinner show was great fun. The food was ok and served very efficiently. The band was fantastic and we really enjoyed our evening

5.00I am terrified, I mean terrified of heights, but I went on the roller coaster 4 times. The Chuckwagon Dinner was Truly AMAZING and the music after dinner was spectacular. They are amazing and talented singers and all of them are family which makes it that much better. They make you feel so welcome just like family. We will for sure do this again. If you are out here on vacation trust me you won’t be disappointed. And the price is so affordable.
