Piazza della Repubblica
Designed during the urban redevelopment undertaken after Rome was declared capital of Italy, the Piazza della Repubblica is one of the most important squares of the city, and extremely striking. The Piazza della Repubblica is made up of a large roundabout with an exquisite fountain, Fontana delle Naiadi, surrounded by imposing buildings on one side and a seemingly demolished temple on the other.
Palazzo Del Quirinale
The Quirinal Palace (known in Italian as the Palazzo del Quirinale or simply Quirinale) is a historic building in Rome, Italy, one of the three current official residences of the President of the Italian Republic, together with Villa Rosebery in Naples and Tenuta di Castelporziano in Rome. It is located on the Quirinal Hill, the highest of the seven hills of Rome in an area colloquially called Monte Cavallo. It has housed thirty Popes, four Kings of Italy and twelve presidents of the Italian Republic.

From our reservations to the actual tour itself, this entire experience was a dream. We're from the States, and decided to book this tour on our first night in Rome right after we landed. (We're so glad we did, because it was a great way to see the city while jet-lagged) When booking through their website, they were so accommodating and helpful via email. Our hotel was really close to the last site, so I asked if it was possible to get dropped off at our hotel instead of the meeting point. They didn't even hesitate to say yes. When we showed up for the tour, we realized we were the ONLY ones on the tour! So it turned out to be an unexpected private tour for two. I was so grateful that instead of cancelling on us, they had the most wonderful driver/guide, Matteo, take us around. We were starved from the flight, so Matteo took us first to THE best pizza we've ever had (and I lived in NYC & LA for the last 20 years). You get a taste of 3 different types of pizza, as well as a glass of wine/drink. The CRUST on these pizzas! The original flavor combos that I had never had before! Our eyes were buggin'. Then the actual tour began... Rome is so beautiful at night. The photos you get to take are epic. Because it was at night, there was less people at the Trevi Fountain and we got to take the ubiquitous photo and throw coins (that Matteo provided) into the fountain. It was cold, but my hubs loved it from behind Matteo, and I could bundle up in the sidecar with a hot water bag and blanket Matteo provided. I was COZY, and smiling from ear to ear. Expect to have people point and smile at you while you coast through town as it's not often you see sidecars in Rome. Also... side note... Roman driver are Aggressive. And I've lived in NYC & LA... But they are confident drivers, so 3 inches of space between vehicles is all they need. Just know you are being driven by very experienced drivers. All in all. I think this is a must if you're coming to ROME for the first time. Trust me when I say, you're going to want to be driven around some while vacationing there. Rome is exhausting to walk, with it's hills, steps, and general largeness. Let's someone educate you and show you the sites of Rome while you relax and rest your feet.

What a fantastic experience with the Vespa and the sidecar! We had a lot of fun and we had moments full of joy. Samuel, Mattia and Barbara were super pilots and travel companions – very nice! During the tour we also discovered many interesting things about the city. And how lucky to be able to go around with two Wasps! 🛵💨 And the pizza... my goodness, it was too good, the best I ever ate! 🍕🤩

Fantastic, fun, and informative. Super fun evening tour with great, gourmet pizza in a very cool and relaxed atmosphere. The driver, a true "Roman" as we learned was awesome, helpful, thoughtful, a great driver and guide, and provided great customer service. The actual tour guide, was so informative and guided you through the city with explanations and wonderful history lessons. It was nice to see the city and all the tourist spots at night and save time with driving around the city instead of covering it by walking. A great way to see the city if you are short on time. The only draw back is you dont have much time at SOME locations to take pictures and my headset only worked in one ear so was a little tough to hear Monica our guide all the time. It was a very fun experience and worth the cost for it.

Amazing family activity! Our guides were phenomenal, the pizza dinner was great, and we got a great sense of Rome as a whole. Even with small children, we felt safe. It’s a “must do” activity in Rome!

Do this tour as soon as you can when arriving in Rome! It’s so much fun riding through the streets sightseeing, and watching people’s reactions when we rode by was priceless. The pizza stop was delicious and much more than we expected. The restaurant was very beautiful and we ate our fill of several pizzas. Everything was very professional yet very warm and friendly. The drivers were fantastic, helpful and unfailingly polite and kind. Our tour guide Barbara has a superior knowledge of Rome and a wonderful sense of humor. Our party of 4 had a really good time! Thank you :)

Amazing experience! This was the best and most fun tour my family and I have ever taken. This is a MUST DO for anyone visiting Rome!!! The pizza was also the best ever. My wife and kids said the same thing. We saw just about everything you could imagine and it was topped off by the night time stop atop a the Colosseum! Thank you VespaSideCar Tours.
