Excellent tour, Cristobal is a great guide our group had Spanish and English speakers and he had no problem translating the information. The wines and piscoes of the tastings are excellent and the landscape is beautiful.

We did both an Elqui Valley wine tour and an astronomical tour with Cristobal from Turismo TEMBETA. Cristobal picked us up right from our Airbnb and drove us around La Serena, showing us some of the city while sharing the history of Chile and how Chilean wine first began. It was really interesting to learn all that before heading into the valley. He speaks both Spanish and English, which was perfect since my partner speaks both but I only speak English. During the wine tour, some guides only spoke Spanish, but Cristobal translated everything so I didn’t miss a thing. We visited a mix of local wine shops, vineyards, and Pisco distilleries, and got to try lots of different wines. Lunch was amazing—big portions of Chilean food, plus a Pisco Sour. The empanadas were probably some of the best I had! We enjoyed the wine tour so much that we decided to join Cristobal again for an astronomical tour, which was just as incredible. The town's throughout the valley are super cute and welcoming. We enjoyed walking around sight seeing. Cristobal is extremely kind, easy to talk to, and made both trips fun. He’s also super knowledgeable and passionate about the Elqui Valley. We had such a great time and would totally recommend Cristobal and Turismo TEMBETA!
