5.00We booked this tour solely because there was a 100% money back guarantee, that if we didnt see the lights a full refund would be given Make sure you book the unlimited mileage and timeframe PRO TOUR We had nothing to lose with the unlimited milage and time frames Our tour guide Paul was exceptional even though he had been with the company since November His knowledge/eagerness/friendliness & will not to give up the hunt was excellent Paul picked us up from our accommodation at Santas Igloos at 630 pm & he dropped us back off around 230am He was able to act on his gut feelings to take us 2 hrs from rovaniemi and when we parked up down dark deserted road the lights were shining bright We met up with Paul's cousin as he was on a tour also and between them both their professional camera skills were on point to capture priceless moments captured in tym !! The light show lasted about 1hr 20 mins so we thought that would be the end on the tour however we were wrong Paul asked if we all ( there was 8 of us ) wanted him to continue looking and thankfully everyone said yes ( as its a majority rules vote ) and within no tym at all we were headed 20 mins back towards rovaniemi again to a big frozen lake where the Northern Lights once again put on a show for over 1 1/2 hrs Its was so so cold but Paul and his cousin wouldn't leave until we all had had enough of being frozen lol Usually there is only your tour guide at the location but as Paul's cousin was there too it was awesome to see them smiling and getting a couple of photos under the Lights too ( of course they asked us if we minded right at the end ) all the other people had gone back to the vans ages before we did so we had absolutely no issues saying yes to them taking some photos of each other ) Absolutely brilliant tour/ brilliant tour guides so happy With the 100% money back guarantee you have absolutely nothing to loose & we were so very happy to be actually giving them the money as we certainly had a gr8 night out

5.00I took the trip with my partner. David picked us up from our hostel and gave us a wonderful welcome from the start. We climbed into the van, excited, and our guide gave us a very detailed explanation about the possibilities of seeing the Northern Lights and the techniques for viewing them on our own. He gave us tips and lessons about this natural phenomenon. The experience was made possible by the group and the guide. David was always passionate about his work, and his enthusiasm was contagious. He always considered our wishes and asked if we wanted to continue watching after taking lots of photos. We enjoyed an incredible aurora display (8/10) with amazing movement and colors. We drank warm cherry juice and ate chocolate cookies. A 1000/10 experience, highly recommended!

5.00We (family of 4) went out with Jonathan on Jan 8th. Didn't need to go far - 1.5hours out of rovaniemi. We got to witness a spectacular show and got some amazing photos. The van was comfortable and warm. Dress warmly for the outside.

We got to see an AMAZING lights show, two different instances across a total of 7 hours during our tour. Would absolutely recommend and ask for Paul if that’s an option.

5.00David was the best guide! Knew so much about the natural phenomenon and how to predict all the factors for a good light show! Pick up was prompt and we were off, lasting outside in one of the coldest nights for approx. 6 hours, with warm drinks, cookies, and a warm van while waiting. The small group size meant more options for pictures and we one of the first to get to the spot David scoped out. He really cared about us capturing the perfect pictures and was willing to stay out in the cold for more if we were willing and able. Luckily, mother nature cooperated and we did visibly see the nights on the first try, but he was willing to go the distance to chase the lights! It was 100% worth the price- the experience is what you make it and the guarantee for lights or refund/additional time really helps put you at ease; having a dedicated and fun guide like David made this more like a 5+ star tour for sure. His enthusiasm was infectious and had us all wanting to stay out later to catch the best show.
