This was an excellent tour, our guide was very informative and very engaging. The tour around the palace was very insightful and a great experience, however, the distance between the two activities made the experience rather tireful as there was no real stop to rest in between, relax and have something to eat. We were on the go virtually the whole time. The trip to the Prado museum was okay, we only glimpsed a few pictures which the guide took us to and were her choice, there was not enough time to see the whole museum, although we were allowed to remain in the museum afterwards and wander round at our own pace. My advice and recommendation would be to do these two activities separately.

Evie was our tour guide and she remained our favorite throughout our 2 week vacation. She was friendly and had such enthusiasm and inflection in her speech. She was also quite informative. FYI there is a 1.5 hour gap between the 2 museums for you to either walk with the guide or for your to get to the Prado yourself; it is enough time to taxi and eat lunch before the Prado. This tour required no waiting in lines!

Our guide Marta was excellent and she has a great sense of humor. The tour of the Royal Palace was adequate but the tour of the Prado museum was too short to get much out of it. The lunch break should have allowed us to sit down for 15 minutes instead of standing on the side of the road and eating while walking.

Excellent tour of the palace as well as the Prado Museum. The group was much larger than my liking at the Prado Museum as after the palace we picked up quite a few people. Marta was an excellent tour guide that was professional with a great sense of humor. She answered a lot of questions and really knew her facts. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Madrid.
