The Rumi Route is a self guided audio tour that gives insight into Rumi's life and times by touching on the Seljuk era, the city of Konya, the Whirling Dervish, Anatolian carpets, Sufi music - and Seljuk Cuisine. The Sufi mystic Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī, usually referred to as Rumi in the West, spent most of his adult life in Konya during the 13th century. Following in his father's footsteps, Rumi became a scholar. His friendship with Shams e Tabrizi inspired a phenomenal output of poetry; his major contribution lies in Islamic philosophy and Tasawwof (Sufism).

The informations were really interesting. I did not always find my way though especially at the end of the tour.

Most of the route was storytelling of things that were not significant at all. Wakked the entire route and never said which side of street and did not start until i was physically in the start point which would have been beyter to override this function. I had better audio guide in the mevlana museum.

Fantastic walk, clear narration with lots of local knowledge. Only issue is that Konya Kitchen doesn't exist anymore

Story teller was great but kind of short, would love to had more to tell. Convenience is a big plus, you can start any time you wish, take a break or repeat any thing. Great idea, great application. Tour guides will be out of business. Thanks
