5.00We had an absolutely fabulous sailing tour on the Bacalar lagoon, and I can’t say enough good things about our captains/guides, Gonzalo and Valentín. From the moment we stepped on the boat, they made us feel completely safe, comfortable, and taken care of — the kind of calm, confident hosting that lets you fully relax and just enjoy how magical the lagoon is. Gonzalo’s knowledge of the history of the lagoon and the surrounding area was especially impressive — he shared stories and context in a way that was engaging and natural, not scripted. It added so much depth to the experience and made the whole tour feel special. What really set this apart, though, was how genuinely thoughtful they are as people. We connected with Gonzalo during the tour, and even after it ended he stayed in touch and helped us navigate a couple things while we were still in Bacalar — including checking on the dog that had attacked me, which ultimately helped me avoid having to get expensive rabies shots. That level of care is above-and-beyond in a way you don’t forget. They are true class acts. Honestly, they deserve to be paid more than the tour costs. If you’re considering a sailing tour in Bacalar, book with Gonzalo and Valentín. A++++. Unforgettable.

5.00Gonzalo was very attentive. He stocked the beverages and snacks. Well, he took us around the lagoon to all the great places, never rushed very friendly and understood the history of the lagoon. Overall, very satisfied with his service highly recommend.
