An active but casual bike tour (not e-bikes), your guide will maintain a comfortable pace trough the hills of Saint John, with a series of stops to ensure you experience the highlights of a city with so much beauty and history that you may want just to move here!

Highlights include:

- a trading post that dates thousands of years

- Canada's oldest, independent brewery*

- historic architecture and a rich industrial story

*Variations can be available without the Moosehead stop, send us a message for more information

*Tours that depart before 1030am local time (by request or by design to meet a cruise ship departure timelines) may not be able to stop at Moosehead as the brewery doesn't open until noon

*We do have some flexibility with this tour, but you need to contact us directly if you're looking for accommodation or adjustment

What To Expect

Rockwood Park

At 2,200 acres (890 hectares), with ten lakes and 55 trails and footpaths, Rockwood Park is a Saint John destination unto itself. For our purposes (when circumstances allow), the park serves as our start/finish location, and , the tour finishes with a scenic ride along the park road, learning about its history and revel in its beauty.

Here is the review I wrote, but it did not allow me to leave a detailed review, without logging in as you, which I can’t do. So can you copy an paste this as my feedback and review for the bike tour I took? Thanks! The bike tour I purchased in Halifax Nova Scotia via Viator turned out to be my favorite part of my 9-Day Canada cruise. The meetup location for the biking tour that I booked was a 45 min walk away from my cruise ship port. Since I miscalculated the walking distance to the meeting point, I was unable to make the tour. However, when I contacted them later that day, the folks at the touring company who went above and beyond to make sure that I had a great experience. They not only rescheduled me for the next day, but they came to the ship port to pick me up. Once I arrived at the meeting location, I met my bike tour guide (Doug), it turns out I got a 1-on-1 biking tour. As if that were not enough, Doug also became my photographer, helping me capture great pictures from throughout the tour. Doug was very knowledgeable and very professional and ended the tour by cycling back with me to the ship to make sure I made it back onboard in time before the ship departed. I had a great time and will book another tour with them via Viator gain when every I return to Canada.

Great tour company! Our ship was delayed due to a medical emergency but the tour company waited an hour and still took us out! Our tour guide was very friendly and informative. We biked some hilly roads with beautiful architecture and views of the port. We enjoyed a delicious beer and pleasant conversation at Moosehead brewery. My husband dropped his hat at the beginning of the tour but our guide found it later and the company delivered it to a location near us so we could retrieve it! Great customer service!

One of the most memorable parts of this tour was exploring the mansions and learning about the community, the rich history and stunning architecture or captivating, but what truly stood out was the deeper connection to the people and stories that shape the area. It left a lasting impression making this experience truly unforgettable.

This is an excellent tour. The tour operators are super friendly and helpful. The communication is great. By the end of the day touring with Darren, we felt like we spent a day biking with an old friend.
