5.00That tour was amazing and we had a great, attentive and informative guide in Joseph. We saw some spectacular lakes in addition to the Sound of Music movie that Joseph was very familiar with, pleasing fellow travellers who were big obvious fans and then he gave us a indepth tour of Salzburg before allowing us to have plenty of free time to explore and enjoy on our own, highly recommended, great tour

5.00The drive from Vienna through the countryside is a tour in itself. It gives a great context for Vienna in the wider region of Austria. Great rest facilities along the way and an opportunity to see expansive beautiful scenery. More than enough time in Salzburg to see all the sites we expect to see in this part of the world. Timing was excellent. Joseph was an exceptional guide. Professional knowledgeable and a safe driver. One of the best guides.

4.00Okay, let me start with our guide and driver, Josef. He is the best! He provided so much interesting information about Vienna, Salzburg, and Austria. Between the three-hour drives each way and the 45 minutes or so he spent with us in Salzburg, he works so hard and makes sure you are comfortable, safe and having a nice time. I cannot speak highly enough about this fantastic guide/driver. The tour itself? Hmmmm....We enjoyed the drive, but the truly scenic parts of the trip come closer to Salzburg, where you get two oppportunities to disembark and enjoy some stunning lake vistas. Salzburg itself, while quaint and very pretty, felt a little too.....inauthentic in that the old area is ALL touristy. Still, it did make for a relaxing 2-3 hours of strolling, people-watching, snacking, and just enjoying being on vacation. Would we do it again? I doubt it. Are we happy we took the trip? Sure! Oh, and a bonus is being dropped off at your hotel at the end of the tour. Our thanks to Josef for being such a tremendous guide and driver. Great guy to spend the day with.

5.00Robert was great! He was very informative and a great driver, especially having to drive back in a major thunder storm. We thought there were going to be 15 on our tour but ended up only 4 of us which was really, really nice. If your visiting Vienna definately visit Salzburg and if possible plan on spending a couple of days. You won't regret it.
