We booked this tour because we are disembarking at San Antonio after a 22 days cruise. We want a smooth transfer to Hotel in Santiago (which is 1.5 hours drive from the port) as well as visiting the historic town of Valparaiso. This tour exceeded our expectations. We were contacted by the tour operator ‘Best Trip’ the day before the tour by WhatsApp and well informed the meeting arrangements. Cristian was right in front of the gate after we exited from the port. Despite the tour said starting at 8 am, that means Cristian will be at the gate from 8 am and will wait for everyone joining the tour. Our ship arrived at 7 am and the time to finish every procedure was quite unpredictable. So we are reassured that no one will be missed. We only waited for 10-15 minutes and can go. This was possible because this was a small group with 8 people. When 8 people arrived, we could go (Best Trip had 5 groups that day). Our tour guide was Roxanna and driver was Francisco. Both were wonderful people. Roxanna’s English is good. She brought us to many interesting places with good explanations. She even treated us with ice cream and cherries. Valparaiso is a place you cannot miss. We visited the flower clock in Viña de Mar as well as the Moai. Transfer back to hotel was smooth with a stop at an organic vineyard at midway. We all enjoyed the day!

Roxana was a wonderful guide for our trip from San Antonio port to our hotel in Santiago. We were impressed by the organization by Best Tour at the port. They were easy to find and got passengers loaded onto the buses very quickly. Roxana is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic advocate for Chile. She pointed out many landmarks and little items we would have otherwise missed. We took the funicular up the hill in Valparaiso, had a nice lunch, and a leisurely stroll back down the hill. Francisco was a great driver and navigated Chilean traffic really well.

I enjoyed the places we visited which is a good thing, The bad things included being put on a bus with our luggage at the port and then being asked to move to another bus, the small bus became very uncomfortable during the last part of the trip, the driver clearly not knowing where he was going and worst of all it taking an hour from the first hotel drop off to the last. I know someone has to be last, but the driver drove past the turn off for our hotel to drop off someone else and then circled back to our hotel. My husband watched this on Google Maps and it was highly annoying to be 5 minutes from your destination to then find you’re 20 minutes away. We finally arrived at our hotel around 6:00 after a very stressful last hour which wasn’t the best way to end the day

A fantastic way to get from Santiago to the cruise terminal to join our cruise. Good, clear and prompt communication regarding the morning pick up and very interesting to see and here about Chile. The vineyard was a beautiful setting and it was interesting to hear about the vineyard and their wines and history. In Valparaiso, we had 1 hour and decided to skip lunch and walk around and we definitely weren't disappointed. In this part of town the buildings are colourful and many have beautiful murals and we really enjoyed our time here. The bus was very comfortable and we were a group of 12 and our luggage was in a covered trailer behind. We felt very safe with our driver and Carlos, our guide, was informative and very helpful. A hassle free, very interesting way to get from Santiago to the cruise ship terminal. Thank you Best Trip Chile.

Our tour guide, Roxana Rivas, was great today! She's so full of knowledge, patience and positive energy! She was very generous to buy us some fresh local cherries and Chilean popsicles to try! We had a fantastic visit to Viña Del Mar, Valparaíso, and Emiliana Organic Vineyards. The van we had was roomy. It had seating for 11, but they kept the group size to 8 for a more personal tour, which we really appreciated. And there was plenty of room in the back for all of our luggage! Our driver, Fransisco Ramirez, did a fantastic job of getting us to where we needed to be, and had lots of patience driving through the afternoon traffic coming into Santiago.

They picked us up just outside the terminal, drove us around the listed sites, took us on a walking tour, and then dropped each of us off at our respective hotels, exactly as advertised. It was a nice day. Our guide, Cristian, was fantastic. Gave us great information on the area, and history. Would highly recommend. Driver Jose was very helpful too.

Great guide and Valparaiso was terrific. The street art and the winding hilly streets were well worth the effort.
