As a private tour, I saw the key highlights of San Salvador without rushing. Isaac focused on the historic center which was so fascinating because it was a festival night. We tasted pupusa, drank local coffee, watched the performers, and went into the fantastic library open 24/7. Excellent introduction to the city.

Operator did not show up at the pickup spot agreed. I have asked for a refund. He also did not answer his phone or respond to chats

The tour guide was allocated days in advance and all communication was fine. On the day of the tour though, the guide didn’t show and could not be contacted. Viator scrambled to find a replacement guide for the afternoon (instead of the morning we had booked), but we lost a valuable half a day waiting around before we could meet the new allocated guide. The replacement guide was fine, but we lost a good part of the limited time we had in San Salvador. No recompense was offered by Viator for the disruption and non-delivery of the service.

Oscar showed me every downtown feature, the impressive new library inside and out, the Cathedral, the Teatro, the unique Rosario church, the Christmas decorations, the National Palace including a guided tour. I could not have asked for more. Best 3 hours walking tour.
