What To Expect
Get out for an adventurous sightseeing tour that is perfect for discovering the desert and, the hidden treasures of this popular and most deserted destination. This trip will take you to Salt Lake Salinas of Pedra de Lume, the second saltiest water in the world after the Dead Sea, an incredible lake where you can lie down and float, even if you can't swim, and you will be left with smooth skin as if you had a natural scrub. Next, you will travel to Buracona, where you will see the "Blue Eye", one of the 7 wonders of the island and its natural pool, where you will have time to swim in its crystal clear waters if the conditions are ideal for bathing. Then you will move on to Miragem, where you will see the fata morgana effect of water illusions in the desert. Admire the natural reserve of Murdeira Bay and enjoy the beautiful view of Lion mountain. At the end, you will visit Shark Bay, where you will experience lemon sharks in their natural habitat up close. Enjoy a half-day island tour and visit places like Blue Eye, Miragem, Salinas Salt lake and Shark Bay. Swim in the salt lake and Buracona natural pool with your group, before heading out to sea to see some lemon sharks.

5.00Great half day. Lemon sharks swimming around your feet! It is rocky under foot but the guides are supportive. If you have reef shoes use them but there are pairs available to rend on site. The salt bath was exhilarating!! It was a little cloudy, but the sun came out just at the right time to get a photo of the Blue Eye! Vanessa, or guide, kept us well informed throughout the trip. Would highly recommend.

5.00It was a good all rounder to explore Sal. First stop lemon sharks. Theon ff to salt lake. We then went to blue eye or something obut weather not on our side so we couldn't experience the mirage or blue ice. Vanessa was a great informative your guide.

5.00This was a great excursion telling us about the island and showing some interesting things. Lemon sharks were amazing to see. So many of them. Float in the salt lake was great as well. The blue eye was still good to see even though it was cloudy and not showing its full effect. Our guide Kiki said as great

3.00Fun trip and got to see a lot but bus ride was a bit scary. Went on a flooded route where no other buses appeared to be traveling g for good reason. Thought bus would tip over or get stuck. Tour guide was great.

5.00Great way to explore the island, salt lake was great, shark activity good fun and informative, the mirage ok, could have done without Blue eye trip at the end, an hour wait to see something not that interesting, would have been better to go to a beach for a swim. Guide Kiki very good.

4.00Got to see many cool places, but bring euros. It says everything is included, but it's not true. We had to pay for bathing shoes, even if we had + with us to see the lemon sharks. Otherwise a very nice trip, recommended!

3.00We first visited the shark bay. I did see a total of 3 small sharks and the experience was rushed. On the way out we spent some time towing a car out of mud since it got stuck - that took away some time from our half a day tour. We then went to the salinas. Again we were told that we had 15-20 mins to float but it was super rushed there again - I maybe floated for a max of 5 mins. We then saw a mirage - quite interesting. After that we went to see the blue eye - the least interesting part of the trip where we spent / wasted majority of our trip. Additionally to this our tickets were supposed to be “skip the queue” and hence we decided to pay a bit more. We did not skip the queue… I suggest you pick the cheaper option of the same trip.
