Starting at la Moneda Palace, we'll go through the history of this beautifull building and the democracy development since the 70's It's a great spot for taking some picutres!
Plaza de La Constitucion
At the other side of la Moneda Palace, we'll talk more about the democracy breakdown in Chile (1973), how this affected the cultural and LGBT development in Chile

5.00We booked this tour for our first day in Santiago to help us quickly understand the city, and it did not disappoint. Freddy was knowledgeable about the political history of the city in addition to the LGBT history, which was unique and enjoyable to hear about as we walked this 2.5 hour tour. We did our tour on Christmas Eve day, so the city was relatively quiet, but Freddy did his best to explain what it would usually be like. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn about the history and LGBT history of Santiago.

5.00What a perfect way to introduce myself to the city! It was my first time to Santiago and I was traveling solo, so I booked the walking tour to get the lay of the land. Freddy met me early at my hotel, introduced me to the metro and we had lunch. Afterwards, we spent the day wandering through the city stopping at historical sites where he shared a wealth of knowledge. Along the way we stopped into a number of restaurants and cafés. It was only Freddy and I. By the end of the day, not only did I know more about Santiago and its history, I also had a one of a kind experience that was more a kin to wandering the city with a new friend. Freddy, thank you for making me feel welcome and ready to explore on my own!

5.00You must take this tour! If I could give 10 stars I would. Freddy became family to us! Not only do you get an incredible tour of the city, you get a resource of information about the area, and a friend. Freddy let us explore at our pace--all of the questions we asked directed the conversation and the tour itself. Pride Tours executed this process flawlessly--Freddy reached out a few days before our trip to make sure we were all set, and even offered recommendations on accommodations if we didn't have any. Freddy and Pride Tours are doing an incredible job--we will ABSOLUTELY book another tour with them.
