The final stop is Thirassia, where you can explore its charming villages, take in breathtaking views, or savor a delicious meal at a traditional taverna before returning to your starting port.
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
For the volcano tour, wear comfortable shoes, a sun hat, and bring water.
Dark swimsuits are recommended to avoid sulfur stains.
A minibar is available on board for water and snacks.
Bring sunscreen for sunny days or a light jacket if it’s windy.
Swimming in the hot springs is not recommended for pregnant individuals or those with heart issues or serious medical conditions.
Santorini Volcano
As your boat nears the volcanic island, its rugged cliffs and stark beauty set the stage for your adventure. Step ashore and begin a guided hike along volcanic trails as your tour escort shares the island’s fascinating geological history and stories of its eruptions. A 5€ entrance fee is required to access the volcano. Wear comfortable shoes, bring a sun hat, and carry water to stay hydrated during the hike. At the summit, enjoy sweeping views of the caldera and the Aegean Sea, surrounded by the raw power of nature. Steam vents and volcanic rock formations create a truly mesmerizing, otherworldly landscape. After taking in the views and captivating stories, return to the boat with unforgettable memories. Always follow your tour escort’s guidance for a safe and enjoyable experience.
Palea Kameni
The next stop is the island of Palea Kameni, home to the renowned hot springs nestled on its west side. Here, you’ll have 30 minutes to experience the rejuvenating thermal waters, celebrated for their rich volcanic minerals and therapeutic properties. The boat will anchor approximately 30-40 meters from the springs, and you’ll need to swim this distance to reach the warm, orange-hued waters. Surrounded by stunning volcanic landscapes, this is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in nature’s healing embrace. Please note, this activity is best suited for comfortable swimmers, as the swim requires confidence and stamina. We enjoyed the cruise itself. We thought we were going to be on a catamaran but instead we were on a wood ship. The boat tour itself was very enjoyable. The staff on the boat were wonderful. Transportation was an issue. The bus had many stops and took a very long time. Going back the bus left without us and others from our ship. It turned around and picked us up. From what I observed I would ask to be put on the wood sail like boat vs the catamaran.

Definitely an ambitious walk to top of volcano, however, plenty of scenic vistas along the way to enjoy or even end your walk at before heading back down. Enjoyed the information provided.

Badly designed trip. Instructions unclear. Too short a time swimming to hot springs and Thirassia Island beach was too rocky and had a very dangerous undertow, I was thrown down and had to be pulled out by two people ( and I’m a swim instructor). My husband sustained injuries. The trip would be better to drop anchor in a safe cove and allow passengers to swim to their heart’s content.

The tour was great, our guide was very informative. We loved stopping at all the places - the volcano is a trek straight uphill so wear clothes toes shoes and be prepared!

I’ve been to Santorini twice now and I’m so glad I finally did a catamaran sunset tour. And to share it with my husband, on our honeymoon was magical. We had such a small group too! A lovely Brazilian family and a young SoCal couple, so just the eight of us to be doted upon by the two wonderful men of the Caliente N.E. 238. And a badass chick behind the wheel, to make our catamaran the coolest of the Caldera. The weather, water, scenery, FOOD, history, & stories were perfect! My husband and I loved hearing about the Greek gods and goddesses and the ancient myths and legends that the Santorinians grew up learning about their home. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat - but I’d specify I need THIS catamaran with THIS crew. I can’t imagine anyone better! Thank you for making our Friday one we’ll never forget!!

Great tour, great value, nice boat! Loved the waterfront restaurants on Thirassia. So many choices and very affordable. Liked all stops and that we returned by seeing Oia by boat.

Our family had a great time. There’s was enough time for all 3 activities. It was great that the boat had refreshments and bathrooms.
