With 4 years of experience as a super host from Airbnb as well as organizing trekking tours of villages in Sapa. realizing the needs and desires of many tourists for village visits by walking, to be closer to small villages, close to nature and have a deeper experience of the indigenous culture of ethnic minorities living in Sapa
The most traveled in just one day of trekking and the only one in Sapa. We did the all in one program - Trekking and cooking class. It is a scenic walking program to go to places where there is almost no presence of concrete, places that we would almost not be able to see without a walking program. Combined with a cooking class for about 2-3 hours, with experience in homestay and has researched very Vietnamese and popular dishes over 4 years of working on Airbnb to introduce to everyone in just one lunch. To ensure that everyone's teeth are not only delicious. but also learn more about how to make a complete Vietnamese meal

Cat Cat village
Arrive at Cat Cat Village – a popular stop for most travelers visiting Sapa, but instead of entering the crowded center, we’ll just pass by – and continue deeper into a small village called Y Linh Ho. The real journey begins along the Muong Hoa Stream, which winds its way beside Sapa’s iconic terraced rice fields, blending beautifully with the towering, rolling mountains.

I’m honestly in disbelief that this tour guide is still allowed to operate after such a misleading experience. Out of the five stops listed in the itinerary, we only visited two! One of the key highlights, Cat Cat Village, was supposed to have the admission included—yet the guide flat-out refused to go, saying it was “too touristy” and told us we’d have to pay ourselves if we still wanted to visit. Absolutely unacceptable. We were also promised a cooking class with locals, which was a big reason I booked this tour—but instead, lunch was just waiting for us when we arrived. No interaction, no experience, nothing like what was advertised. To make matters worse, the guide took us extremely off the beaten path—so much so that I genuinely felt unsafe. I’m an experienced hiker, but this was on another level, with no warning at all about the intensity or risk involved. And when I raised my concerns, the guide became defensive and quite rude, which only made the whole experience even more uncomfortable. If I could give zero stars, I would. This was not only disappointing but also potentially dangerous. Avoid at all costs.
