Rise and shine! It is 8:00 am and perfect time to start our journey. Our first stop is the most beautiful and best preserved fortress in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Old Forth of Travnik was constructed in 14th century during Kingdom of Bosnia, but the present appearance is the result of the Ottoman builders.

If You did not have a chance to have a cup of coffee do not worry! Perfect place for traditional Bosnian coffee is “Plava Voda” (blue water springs).

5.00Great transfer ! Ensar , our driver was on time and even treated us to lunch sandwiches. We preferred the drive versus the flight - we didn’t want to risk traveling on split tickets (different airlines ) and perhaps having the airline misplace our luggage the day before transatlantic flight back home ( it happened before ). Also, driving through Bosnia provided us with more understanding of the country’s history . It is a stunning country . Hope to come back one day and enjoy it even more .
