Discover San Pedro through its flavors after sunset on this guided evening food experience. As the island shifts into its lively nighttime rhythm, we visit six (6) hand-selected locally loved eateries known for their bold flavors and cultural roots, some of which are rarely found by visitors on their own.
Try eleven (11) tastings, including rum cream tastings, from fluffy fry jacks and richly seasoned Mestizo salbutes to smoky Maya-inspired tacos and fresh seafood ceviche, each tasting highlights a different influence that shapes Belizean cuisine. Between bites, we share stories of the island’s people, traditions, and history while soaking in the energy of San Pedro after dark.
Designed as a social and immersive culinary experience, this tour is ideal for travelers who want to taste widely, learn deeply, and experience the island beyond the daylight hours.

Melva was an amazing guide. She knew so much about the restaurant owners and their background stories. She was fun and informative. And the food!!!!!!!! Our faves were the Pork Taco and the Fish Stew. Everything was exceptional.

Food was excellent! Our tour guide Jamiel was fabulous. Didn’t realize it was a walking tour. However the walking helps work off some of the goodies we ate. Would do it again :)

This was such an amazing food tour. I had Jamil, as my guide. He was very informative about San Pedro, Ambergris Caye’s history and each venue. We walked to 6 different unique restaurants and tried their most popular dishes. I highly recommend to everyone. It is also a great way to meet new people!

We had group of ten as we toured the town, enjoyed local food & drinks, and learned about the Belizean culture along the way. Everything was delicious and large variety gave us opportunity to try several favorites- soup, tacos, ceviche, tamarin, rum, cigars and dessert! Melva was friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and went out of her way to make each stop special, even helped us celebrate birthdays on our last stop. Highly recommend!

Jamil was a great guide - knowledgeable about the food and history of the restaurants as well as entertaining.😄 Our only regret was that we didn’t do this on our first night in Belize! We sampled truly delicious food that was uniquely Belizean and connected to the rich cultural history and culinary traditions of the island. Highlights were The Big Taste for the smoky pork taco, La Sanpedrana for the traditional coconut soup and Saul’s cigars for the rum cream tasting. The coffee rum cream was to die for!

What a fun time! Melva was an excellent host and guide, and there was much to learn (not to mention eat and drink). Over the course of three hours we had soup, tacos, a variety of appetizers, ceviche, rum cream, and key lime pie. At each stop there was a choice of local beverage as well. Each stop was at an establishment that we would not have gone to on our own— Where locals would go and eat. Nothing flashy, but good and authentic, tasty food. Melva gave background, context, history, and told stories of her own upbringing and family history. Completely authentic, completely excellent. We met some very nice people as part of the group experience as well.

We had a great time, our guide was friendly and shared great background about the food we experienced. The group we were with added to the experience and we had a lot of fun together. They also accommodated my dietary restriction super well, so I still got to have a great time. Definitely one of my favorite things from this trip!

Absolutely loved this experience! Mel was our guide and she was absolutely fantastic - so personable and warm. Our group was so fun and the food was incredible. A great variety of dishes! We went on our last night but I would recommend going on the first night to orient yourself to the city and return to any of the stops later in trip if you’d like.
