We paddled the Dora canal on a day following 14 inches of rain in Mount Dora. Katrina was great! She sent us on our way after making sure the canal was clear and safe and offered to pick us up anytime if it wasn’t. Great paddle! Saw beautiful birds and a few baby alligators! Two thumbs up!

My son and I completed the fly out/paddle in trip on Monday, 6-16-25. Katrina was the guide for kayaking the Dora Canal. She was very friendly and had a wealth of knowledge about the area and its wildlife. In addition to different birds we did see some turtles and several alligators. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

Kayaking down the Dora canal with my husband and two small boys was absolutely an amazing adventure. We have never kayaked before and it was easy to catch on and the views were breathtaking. We had great instruction and the nap was easy to read. Bring water and snacks.

Group of 3 couples ages 30-60 years old. Had a fabulous adventure. We saw a variety of wildlife including a manatee & eagle. Highly recommend. Had some boat traffic in the canal but all were friendly and waved at us in the kayaks.
