Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great day out. Parking was expensive but council owned so not event fault. Price was ok for what you get so worth a visit.

Visited today for an early birthday treat for my nearly 2year old. Wasn't as big as I first thought, and taking juat under 2hrs to get there was rather disappointing. Went around twice, juat under 1 5hrs. Luckily we got £10pp ticket deal come through which we took advantage of. Least we've been, bit wouldn't say we'd go back in any hurry.

I’ve been to a few Sea Life centres and while Birmingham has some lovely exhibitions it was definitely my least favourite. The 360 degree tunnel has condensation in the bottom panel so it isn’t technically a 360 degree tunnel as you can’t actually see clearly out of the bottom as the glass is condensed up. The centre is small as it is limited for space in the middle of a city. It’s more of an exhibition than a day out - events are timed to usher you through the building and it is difficult to go back because of the crowds. Once you exit you cannot re-enter despite having a ‘day-ticket’. A recommendation for improvement would be to use QR codes with an audio link for people to listen to the talks and they can then progress through the centre at their own pace. As it was - we were often competing for viewing space because talks were done only at meal times and they have to be at set times.

Penguins were swimming a loop from what I assume boredom. Didn’t like the open tank where children were actively encouraged to stroke a starfish.

I enjoyed my visit. Enjoyed learning and watching all the different marine life. The Penguins were definitely my favourites. Hopefully will come back again in the future.

Incredibly busy to point couldn’t see half the tanks and were constantly stuck behind others who were selfish and had no intention of moving for others to get a good view. We unfortunately had completed it within less than an hour and felt like it was massively overpriced - £15 for a single picture at the end was another disappointment. Will not be visiting again.

Family of 3, myslef a 3 year old and a 5 year old. Over crowded couldn't get any decent viewings of tanks not even the children. Not much to do or see. 69 pounds was very disappointing will not return.

A truly enjoyable experience. Was lucky enough to avoid a huge crowd and therefore could take several good pictures. Staff were helpful and cooperative.

Had a great time with my daughter and grandson. Although he is only 1 there was still lots for him to enjoy. We got a deal, but I do find admission a little expensive generally. We were they the best part of 3 hours as my grandson was having a great time toddling about. It was quiet as we went mid week and not in school holidays. Staff were very attentive with my grandson
