We found that children's tickets are just £1 cheaper than the Adult £16. As you walk around you can see that the entire place is screaming out for more money invested into the building. Eveything looks tired and worn out. The staff we all very helpful. As we finished you can get a photo of your experience but it was very expensive. For a family day out its too much money.

Visited in the week with my 3 year old and 6 month old. £16 for parent and toddler and under 2s free so good value. All the staff were super friendly and engaging, offering for children to stroke starfish/snails and reminding us of the feeding times so we didn't miss anything. I was blown away by the sharks and gorgeous turtle. So much work must go into caring for these creatures. It was lovely. We will be back.

Great experience, amazing range of sea life/animals to see. Staff are excellent we ended up staying 2 1/2 hours and loved every minute. We saw the turtle feed and the speaker was very informative. Great views of the tank and stopped off in the gift shop which was very reasonably priced as were the photos you have taken upon entrance. 5 star experience

A really lovely aquarium with friendly staff at reception. I last visited when I was a child and now brought my own family back and can confirm it’s just as memorable. I’m sure we will visit again in the future!

Do not rate this place at all. Wasn't able to see the penguins, which was such a letdown, All it was was just a bunch of fish swimming in tanks and some sharks in the tunnel. Walked around and left within 25 minutes. Absolute waste of money. It's so small in there. What also annoyed us was that we purchased fish food, which was expensive for £2.50 and after we had paid for it, that's when we were advised we could only feed one tank of fish. Wouldn't have bought it if that was the case. Why wasn't we told when asked if we wanted to buy any? Will never return. Felt ripped off. Southend sea life centre is so much better!!!

Loved how baby/children friendly the whole place is. We were able to stroll with our double buggy without any problems, there are lots of children activities and abundance of changing places in the toilets.

We are local and been going for years, however this was the first time with our baby and she loved it even walking through to next areas she found that fascinating. The staff were brilliant and helpful. It was great the ticket was all day as she fell asleep half way through so got back in later when she woke. We were happy with the price at £16 a ticket and the fact they do a toddler and adults ticket which we didnt need but good for others. We will defently be back as she loved it so much and so did we . Love the new look as we havent been for a while. Id say the downfalls were, there wasn't many sea creatures in with the big shark tank like they used to be and the crocodile bit is abit dull.
