The staff were fantastic and informative. The talks were really good, special shout to Iris for her sea turtle talk which was really entertaining and interesting. The interactive points were also well run with our daughter being able to hold a millipede and touch a starfish. The only downside is the gift shop being the only way to exit. I know it’s how these places make money but when it’s in excess of £20 for a cuddly toy and you’ve got to tell your young child no because we can’t afford it, it’s not ideal. Great venue, great staff and really wide variety of sealife, reptiles and insects to see. Will be visiting again!

We went between Christmas and New year, such a fantastic activity with family and our toddler. Staff were amazing and at no point did it feel crowded. Such a great attraction, thank you

It's not huge and to get best value you should try to attend the talks, even if you come back later (you can go in and out as long as stamped). Reading all of the information, attending 2 talks and taking it all in probably is around 2 to 2.5 hours. Very clean, plenty of age varied stuff. Only comment is the person doing the talks needs to slow down, it's so hard to hear and stay engaged when the speech is so fast. It also makes it feel rushed.

The place itself is great, and supports captive breeding progammes, which is excellent. However, I hate how you have to leave through the gift shop as my child is severely autistic, and wants everything without realising it is unaffordable, and very expensive. Not a good look caplitalising on kids in that way.

First time visiting with my nearly 4 year old daughter, it was a rainy afternoon and was fairly quiet which was ideal for us. My daughter had a great time and went round three times. Staff were so friendly, especially the young lady at the rock pool experience ☺️

We found that children's tickets are just £1 cheaper than the Adult £16. As you walk around you can see that the entire place is screaming out for more money invested into the building. Eveything looks tired and worn out. The staff we all very helpful. As we finished you can get a photo of your experience but it was very expensive. For a family day out its too much money.

Visited in the week with my 3 year old and 6 month old. £16 for parent and toddler and under 2s free so good value. All the staff were super friendly and engaging, offering for children to stroke starfish/snails and reminding us of the feeding times so we didn't miss anything. I was blown away by the sharks and gorgeous turtle. So much work must go into caring for these creatures. It was lovely. We will be back.

Great experience, amazing range of sea life/animals to see. Staff are excellent we ended up staying 2 1/2 hours and loved every minute. We saw the turtle feed and the speaker was very informative. Great views of the tank and stopped off in the gift shop which was very reasonably priced as were the photos you have taken upon entrance. 5 star experience

A really lovely aquarium with friendly staff at reception. I last visited when I was a child and now brought my own family back and can confirm it’s just as memorable. I’m sure we will visit again in the future!
