This was a very good tour but it was very disorganized at the beginning. Sara, our guide was great in explaining things and keeping it friendly and funny after getting on track. The problem was in determining the initial meeting spot. That spot was not communicated to us originally.

Both the driver Neil and out guide Peter were great. Beautiful scenery. The only disappointment was the train ride which went back and forth for less than a mile along a lake. It really added nothing to the your in my opinion.

Nice guide and a fun day. Was a little disappointed with the train. It was a small steam train and it just took us around a lake. Just was not what I expected.

This was a great tour covering a lot of territory in a limited time from our cruise ship. I would suggest taking the earliest tender possible if you are arriving on a tender from a cruise ship. The seas were choppy so our tender took long get than possible and we waited an hour for other travelers to arrive from the ship. Fortunately the tour guide and company were still able to provide the full tour we booked. Very happy with this tour! David was a great guide and I would recommend!

We saw amazing countryside, beautiful vistas , incredibly gorgeous little villages, castles, Snowdonia park, and enjoyed a narrow-gauge train ride beside a glacier-carved lake. Wow! Just wow!!!

What a wonderful trip with our guide David. He was very knowledgeable on the history, culture and myths of Wales. The places visited give you a better feel of local culture. Not a fan of the train ride (20 folks stuffed into one car was uncomfortable), but during the route travelled to a from Lianberis did allow use to see filming sites for World of Dragons season 3. A special shot out to our driver Owen for our Welch language lesson.

This was one of our favorite excursions of the entire trip. We loved that the tour bus took us through so many cities and scenic stops as it truly gave us a great sense of what Wales is all about. One of our favorite stops of the day was Beddgelert, a charming village that left a lasting impression on us and ended up stealing my heart as It became one of my favorite places from our entire British Isles journey. We also really enjoyed exploring Caernarfon Castle. However, we felt we didn’t have quite enough time to fully experience everything the castle had to offer. The Llanberis train ride was probably our least favorite part of the excursion, but it still offered beautiful views of the mountains and lake. Our tour guide was fantastic and taught us so much about Wales’ incredible glacial landscapes, movies that were filmed in several locations, the snowdonia rich rock climbing culture, and the captivating legends of welsh dragons. We deeply appreciated all the insights and stories that brought the region’s history and natural beauty to life.
