Unlike standard sightseeing tours, this private experience is designed to adapt to you. While we cover Seoul’s essential highlights, the pace and focus of the tour can shift based on your interests, whether that’s history, culture, architecture, photography, or everyday local life.
Led by a knowledgeable local guide, this tour goes beyond surface-level explanations. You’ll gain meaningful insight into how Seoul blends royal heritage, traditional neighborhoods, and modern city life—all through engaging conversation rather than a scripted presentation.
Because it’s fully private, you won’t feel rushed or restricted by a group schedule. Spend more time where you’re curious, ask questions freely, and enjoy a relaxed, personalized exploration of Seoul that feels more like discovering the city with someone who truly knows it.

Gyeongbokgung Palace
At Gyeongbokgung Palace, travelers will explore the main royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty and discover how Korea’s kings once ruled the nation. Walk through its grand gates and courtyards while learning about Confucian philosophy, royal ceremonies, and the symbolism behind the palace’s layout. Your local buddy will highlight key buildings such as the throne hall and discuss daily life inside the royal court. Rather than simply viewing the architecture, guests will gain a deeper understanding of the cultural and historical significance of this iconic landmark.
Jogyesa Temple
At Jogyesa Temple, travelers will visit one of the most important centers of Korean Buddhism in Seoul. Walk through the temple grounds and observe the colorful lanterns, traditional wooden architecture, and the main hall where Buddhist ceremonies take place. Your local buddy will explain the meaning behind key symbols, daily temple practices, and how Buddhism continues to influence modern Korean life. This stop offers a meaningful contrast to the royal history explored at the palace, highlighting Seoul’s spiritual heritage.

We did a tour with Jayce who was terrific. We saw the sights plus lunch at a small dumpling shop and then went to a traditional tea house. Great day and so worth it not to be in a large group. Highly recommended.
