Great way to sample classic Korean cuisine

Took this tour with limited time in Seoul as only here for work. But a great experience - allows you to get a real good mix of food, and takes away the pressure of knowing what things even are (from the UK, some of the foods aren’t obvious 😂) and then ending up with a big portion of one particular thing. This way you get to sample your way around one of Seoul’s most famous food markets, and get a broad selection of eats without overdoing it. Savoury through to sweet, nothing that most average western pallets wouldn’t find enjoyable - maybe some may hesitate with the ‘live’ octopus… host was great, chap called Juno, informed, friendly and attentive, got everyone involved and led some drinking games (for those that wanted). All in all, great way to spend a couple of hours - recommend.

Love it! Roky stories were very entertaining . He’s like a long last friend that I met up again . Food was the best - love Korean food . Great selection . The best part was it started to snow when we were having hot soup - perfect !

It's definitely not a cheap tour, but it was worth every cent. My husband and I did the tour on our first night in Seoul and it was a great introduction to the city. Our tour guide, Roky, was the perfect guide: an excellent balance of information and good chat and humour. We learned so much about Korean culture, eating/drinking etiquette, the context of the foods we tried. As someone not confident with new foods, I always love a food tour to break down that discomfort. We lucked out with an excellent group of people, which adds to the experience. Most people were down to try everything, including the live octopus! Lots of good conversation and laughs, lots of good food and a good variety of food. An excellent way to spend an evening, highly recommend!

Our tour was so fun and Juno was a wonderful host! He was very knowledgeable about Korean food and culture and explained everything very well. He was very kind and made everyone feel welcome and included. The food was so delicious!! This tour was amazing, definitely recommend.

Had the best time trying local Korean food tonight! We had Juno as our tour guide and he was so knowledgeable and knew all the good spots. He really made the group gel and by the end it was like we were all old friends. Highly recommend!

I'm really glad we included this tour in our list of things to do in Seoul. The food was amazing and we all left the night absolutely stuffed. My daughter who's normally a fuss pot even enjoyed most of the dishes. Jacob did such a great job as our guide. We had so much fun and met some great people. Our family went back to the markets the next day and retraced our favourites from that night.

Tan was great and engaging! Lots of good food and background. My wife is vegetarian (no meat no fish, dairy and eggs ok) and he was able to accommodate and have her well fed.

Enjoyed our food market tour with Yoon! Provided a little history, etiquette, and culture information at each stop during the night. He made sure to point out vegetarian options, and almost every stop had a vegetarian option available (January/winter tour). Food was very tasty, and he showed us Koren drinking etiquette and tips as well. Learned a lot and had fun! Would highly recommend for anyone looking to learn about Korean foods, markets, and culture on your trip to Seoul.

I really enjoy doing this tour and would highly recommend it. Our tour guide, Tan, very relatable, friendly, and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. There was a broad range of delicious foods and beverages from a selection of stalls and restaurants. This is a great introduction to food in Korea.
