This excursion was excellent and a great way to experience what the Dominican Republic culture is. Edwin drove us out into the country and explained so much about the DR as we were going. We stopped at a small family coffee and chocolate farm where we got to sample various things, including cocoa fruit straight from the trees! He took care of us and made sure the mosquitos didn't eat us up. From there, we headed into the city of Higuey to play in the traffic jungle... lol. Edwin was fun to talk to and has a lot of information to share. We didn't go to the cigar place or stop at a market in the city (it was too crazy and we didn't want to get out of the car!). The church was breathtaking. Highly recommend this excursion if you want to get away from the resort and see the real DR! Thank you, Edwin! From your favorite Human's

An amazing experience! We upgraded to a private tour, which was more flexible and personalized. Our guide, Silverio, not only helped us complete the planned activities but also introduced us to a lot of local culture and traditions. For lunch, we dined at a local Dominican restaurant, and the oxtail and codfish were unexpectedly delicious. The cigar factory was a favorite for both the kids and me—we got to make our own handmade cigar and even bring it home for free. If there’s an option to visit a coffee factory or a chocolate factory in the future, where kids can make their own chocolate, that would be absolutely fantastic. Huge thanks to our guide—five stars all the way!

We took our tour with Edwin through Top Punta Cana Tours. There was not enough people for a full tour, so we were able to reschedule for a private tour. Edwin was very responsive over the phone, and he picked up right on time. He was a great host. He gave us a lot of good information about the Dominican culture, and he answered all of our questions. We were able to see all the sites, and we didn’t feel rushed. At the end, we took us to an authentic Dominican restaurant instead of the cigar factory per our request. We would definitely book with him again.

The team was extra responsive, friendly and accommodating. Our guide Nathan was very knowledgeable and fun to be around with! They made sure all our needs and expectations are met. We took a cultural tour as a family of four. The ranch was definitely the highlight of the trip. Highly recommend having the tour with them when in Punta Cana! They are the best!

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome! Nathan, our driver was very fabulous, his singing skills and knowledge of the area was highly valued. Also enjoyed the Spanish-English translation of exchanges. Felt like we were out with family visiting family. Great tour to the cigar factory and family farm for cacao and coffee, mangoes as a bonus. Be mindful of the guide at the church, a fee is required. Otherwise one of the best cultural tours I e had in a long time. Thanks Nathan!

We booked a private half day tour in Punta Cana and it was awesome. Edwin gave us a list of activities to customize our experience. He showed us a different side away from the Resort. Edwin really went into detail and explained things to us. We went to a typical house and we got to see how they make coffee, chocolate, and other things. We went to the Temple and took the perfect picture like I wanted to mimic before we went. Edwin even got us some cold water along the way. He also took us to a souvenir shop and when we did not like the prices, he even took us to another shop that was more to our liking. Please book this tour and you will enjoy it.

Our tour guide, Edwin, was terrific. Although we were the only ones booked for that day, he did not cancel our reservations, like some companies, but gave us a private tour experience. He explained in detail the history of the DR and showed us places that gave us the insight about the daily life of the community here. It was an amazing experience...

We were staying at a very lovely all inclusive resort and decided we wanted to see the real D.R. It was a great way to see beyond the resort. We really enjoyed seeing a typical house and how cigars are made as well as coffee and cocoa. They let us try rolling a cigar which was a nice experience. Edwin was most accommodating.

Tina was a very friendly and flexible guide. Since it was a private tour we were able to tailor the tour to our group, which was wonderful. We enjoyed the market. The coffee and cocoa plantation tour was very interesting and informative and we really enjoyed seeing a real Dominican house to give us a feel for the way of life there. The cathedral was amazing and the highlight of our tour. This company also provided our airport transfers, and they were amazing. They were very prompt and very reasonably priced. They helped us with all of our luggage and even stopped at a super market on our way from the airport to our condo (it was their suggestion)n and waited while we picked up some groceries. They were very informative on the drive. It was private transportation, so it was only our group of 2 when we arrived and our group of 4 when we departed. Their vans were roomy and comfortable. Highly recommend!
