5.00We were unable to go on this shore excursion because our cruise ship couldn’t dock due to strong winds. I informed Viator that since we did not foresee this port stop being canceled, we did not cancel 24 hours prior. Viator reached out to the tour company and after a couple days refunded us our tour payment. Thank you for your understanding and professionalism.

5.00Very good. New van, friendly guide and very good. Well-planned stops. Nothing to complain about. The cost benefit was also very good. They only made a confusion with the ship's arrival time but in the end it all worked out.

3.00The trip covered all the main points of interest, with a very comfortable small coach. Our guide was nervous (he told us!) so perhaps he was new to the job? He spoke very quickly and it was difficult to understand at times. It would have helped if, when we had 25 minutes at the covered market, he informed us that toilets were available there. He was very keen to please so with more experience he will be fine.

3.00To be honest our guide was a lovely man however his poor command ofEnglish did not give us full appreciation of Montevideo and although we saw lots of landmarks we had little understanding of what we were seeing at times and the history. We were also a large group which was not ideal as it was hard to hear what the guide was saying I also expected this to be in a minibus with a small group of people which might have been my mistake . However Montevideo has lots to offer and this was a very reasonably priced tour!
