What To Expect
Our shared journey from Antigua to Panajachel is designed to provide you with comfort and peace of mind throughout your entire trip. When you book with us, we will provide all the necessary information to the driver for pick-up and drop-off. The usual route that we take is from Antigua, passing through the towns of El Tejar, Patzicia, Tecpan, Las Trampas, Las Cruces, and arriving in Panajachel. Drop off points are in Panajachel downtown area. We do not go to any other towns, unless you book a private ride with us, we will inform you about the price. We make a stop half way at a gas station for 5 minutes to use the restrooms. Please be kind to other passengers, our bus is usually fully booked. Passengers who cannot fit in one seat or who encroach upon adjacent seats are required to purchase a second, adjacent seat.

4.00Prompt and good driver- very friendly. The only reason I took a star is because the van is pretty small and a bit uncomfortable but the driver stopped midway for a restroom break for us and was very nice. Good for the price but If you’re tall or thick- you will be right!

3.00It is advertised as a hotel pickup from Antigua however, 24 hours before the pick up I got a message saying we needed to meet at one specific hotel to avoid traffic. This was pretty inconvenient since it was on the other side of town and it would have been nice for that to be in the booking details. The shuttle left 15 minutes late but the driver made up the time on the way to Panajachel. The driver did drop everyone off at their hotel (or the ferry) in Panajachel which was convenient. If you get motion sick at all, I’d definitely recommend taking medicine beforehand as the road gets pretty twisty close to Panajachel.

5.00The ride is not far, but there's traffic and roads go up and down over steep hillsides. Pickup is only from downtown Antigua hotels; dropoff is a lot by the lake

3.00My driver was nice but we were really crammed in the vehicle. There should be something in place for seating arrangements. As someone who is tall, and not the most petite, having to sit in the middle in the front seat was EXTREMELY uncomfortable for such a long journey, and god forbid an accident was to have happened, my knees would’ve been the first to go! 3.00Well to be honest I’d pay the extra and go private. The driver was good but we had to wait till 1pm for a no show. 12.15 is meet time and 12.30 is supposed to be departing time 15 mins is plenty of grace time. I originally couldn’t find a private taxi online but plenty of Travel agents in Antigua to book with plus you can even do Uber. If you’re on a budget then I get it.
