During our shared Capri fishing tour (maximum 12 guests), you'll have the opportunity to have fun and explore the island from the sea.
The excursion will begin from your hotel (in Sorrento) and includes a tour of the island of Capri, visiting the caves, and fishing.
Our guide will explain the history and interesting facts about the various locations, as well as fishing techniques. He'll be available to answer any questions and take fantastic souvenir photos!
You'll have the opportunity to fish with electric reels at a depth of 200 meters, aiming to catch Pezzogna, a typical local white-fleshed fish.
A swimming stop is a must to enjoy Capri's crystal-clear waters.
The boat has ample space at the bow and cabin for relaxing in the sun, and at the stern in the shade.
Lunch on board will follow, featuring the catch of the day and typical Italian cuisine.
Refreshing drinks and fishing equipment will be provided during the tour.

What To Expect
A transfer will take you from the pick-up area to the port of departure. We'll sail to Punta Campanella where we'll fish (your guide will explain everything). After fishing, we'll head to Capri to tour the island and visit the various caves. A swim stop is a must!! A delicious lunch featuring the day's catch and typical local products will await you on board. On the way back, a "Limoncello tasting" is a must. The transfer will take you back to the pick-up area.

2.00This business cancelled on us the day before our trip citing bad weather and wind, which would be fine, except numerous other charters and boats went out the day they cancelled and the day we were supposed to go. The cancellation forced us to scramble to find a replacement (and pay a lot more than we planned). When we spoke to other boat tours it was clear we could go out, so we booked another charter and had a nice day on the water. Not sure why this business cancelled on us, when so many other guides were happy to go out.

5.00Tour Local's 5 day tour of Bright and the surrounding area was excellent. Our driver, Shelton, and tour guide, Sue, were professional and friendly, and cared and looked after all 26 tour members. Our Bright accommodation (a family run motel) included delicious home cooked meals for breakfast and dinner. Each day our coach took us on great outings: through the Kiewa Valley to Mt Beauty and Mytleford; to the Australian Pumpkin Seed factory and through the Ovens Valley to Beechworth. The Ned Kelly presentation at the Beechworth Old Court House was excellent and informative. We visited a wonderful 14 acre Open Garden at Harrietville (Shady Brook) where we viewed spectactular plantings of deciduous trees (elms, oaks, ash, maples, larches, poplars, birches) showing brilliant autumn colours. A visit to the Red Stag Deer & Emu Farm was enjoyed by all. On our trip home we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Commercial Hotel, Broadford. Tour Local is a family owned and operated, professional company offering quality tours. The owners and staff are friendly and look after their customers.

5.00The crew on the trip were so great. Marina was easy to locate. Angela with the tour was kind and communicative. The boat was clean and spacious. The information about various sites were provided in both Spanish and English. The fishing arrangement was well planed and set up. The swimming location was beautiful and was the setting for our great pasta lunch and fresh fish. Prosecco and homemade limoncello were also shared with the group. I would highly recommend this group for any transportation. Fishing. Swimming. Or site seeing activities. Thanks for a great day.

5.00We couldn't have asked for a better day thanks to Angela and Luigi. They have a van to accommodate transport as the port requires a drive, it was on time and quick. Angela greeted the group and led us to the boat to meet Luigi who was very nice. The boat is comfortable with many seating options in the cabin, in front, or on top. They have many drinks on board as well. Angela explained a lot of the region with different stories. It was only my wife and I doing the fishing after dropping others off at Capri. We caught three fish in about 25 minutes using squid bait that Luigi caught the morning of. They let us do the actual fishing and reeling which made the experience amazing. They are very personable, like talking to friends. We were accommodated very well as we also went to the island of Capri after fishing. Overall, everything was run very smooth and efficient. I will recommend Angela and Luigi to everyone!

5.00Such a wonderful day! We did a fishing trip to celebrate my son's 9th birthday. He was even presented with a candle and a singsong! We caught several fish and enjoyed them for lunch along with some delicious pasta with vegetables from the skipper's garden. Really fantastic. Thank you Angela and Luigi.

5.00We had a great time. I went with my husband, he loves fishing. The private car takes you to the boat. The boat is spacious. There’s an option to be dropped off on Capri to go shopping. But we chose to go deep sea fishing on the boat along with another group of two people. We caught some fish and had a delicious lunch with homemade/homegrown food. The guides were informative and kind. You should take Dramamine before you board because it gets very wavy. And don’t forget sunscreen! We definitely recommend this if you’re looking for something to do in sorrento!
