What To Expect
Meet your english-speaking sake experts at a cozy local bar just minutes from Shibuya Crossing and settle in with a small group of fellow guests. The workshop begins with a guided tasting of three distinct sake styles. You’ll learn how to observe aroma, identify flavor differences, and understand basic tasting techniques while sampling each one. After the introduction, you’ll have 45 minutes to explore over 50 additional varieties at your own pace. Compare regions, try different sweetness levels, and revisit your favorites as your host remains available for questions and recommendations. At the end of the experience, you can also purchase your favorite bottle to take home as a gift or souvenir.

5.00Meiko was fantastic. She gave my husband, brother and I all a wonderful experience by learning about how sake is made, the different three different types in the flavor profiles of each. The added bonus was that we could try all the other sake’s that they had in stock so we got to try some wonderful ones - rare ones, craft ones and even some rice liqueurs that were phenomenal. It was a wonderful time by all of us, and we would highly recommend Meiko to anyone wanting to learn about sake!

5.00Our group of 4 friends from the U.S. came together and absolutely loved the experience! Our guide Keko was very personable, spoke amazing English, and was very informative on everything sake! Not only did we learn a lot, but during the all-you-can-drink portion we were able to try ~so many~ types of sake! We 100% recommend giving this tour a try, it was an amazing way to spend our early afternoon in Tokyo!
