Legend whispers that Aphrodite, goddess of love, rose from the shimmering waves at Petra tou Romiou, where sea and sky meet in a breathtaking embrace. With its mystical aura and crashing turquoise surf, this timeless spot in Cyprus invites you to witness the very place where beauty was born.
St. Solomon's Catacombs
The Catacombs of St. Solomonia are carved in the limestone mountain. A cave church with chapels was created underground. The catacombs attracted attention of the crusaders who arrived on the island in the 13th century. The walls and vaults of the grottoes were painted by their artists. Now unfortunately only small fragments remain. The Catacombs of St. Solomonia is the only one underground church in the world. There is also invisible source and near the entrance is an ancient Wish Tree. There are a full colored ribbons on the tree. It has made wishes.

Tour NOT as advertised. Showed up late, had an inadequate vehicle for number of people and provided no tour guiding. Ended up with an over priced driver with limited command of English. Hired a private guide to beat tour buses. Guide did not arrive on time. 6 of us were scouring the pickup point looking for our guide with a sign with our name. Called Viator and was provided her number. She was sitting in her car saying she was waiting for everyone to leave so she could find us. Advertised that vehicle would accommodate 6 adults plus driver. Showed up in a crossover SUV. Two adults had to climb into 3rd seat with limited leg room while another had to sit on a hump for 6+ hours. This was totally unacceptable. There was no way the tour advertised could be completed in the time-frame advertised. We couldn't hear anything the guide was commenting on while driving and asked her repeatedly to speak up which she refused. She did not enter any of the sites with us and provided NO guiding. Her command of the English language is not strong enough to be considered an English speaking guide. Unable to answer basic questions about the sites. Total disappointment and was very expensive for what was provided. I have used Viator in many countries with success. Clearly Viator did not vet this supplier {EOS tours] and now refused to accept any responsibility for their shortfall. Tour was totally NOT what was advertised. Buyer beware!

Viola was a great tour guide. We enjoyed seeing Aphrodite’s rock, Agia Solomoni’s catacombs and the amazing mosaics in Paphos. We also enjoyed a nice lunch of grilled halloumi cheese on pita! Very enjoyable day.

We enjoyed our time in Limassol. Viola was our guide. Our trip was shortened because of a medical emergency on our cruise ship and we were delayed about 3 hours. We toured the castle and then went to the village of Omodos. Omodos was an amazing quaint place where we enjoyed shopping, sampling and a delicious lunch at the Cafe Snack Bar. Viola was very friendly. She was very knowledgeable. At times, the amount of information was much more than needed. The vehicle was very clean but somewhat tight seating for six adults plus the guide. I would definitely recommend this tour.
