This tour is very informative about the agro-based economy of Guatamala. You tour the countryside to see the various agricultural plantations (sugarcane, bananas, corn), visit a local market, cemetary and a stop at a black sand beach resort. Our guide Luis is very passionate about Guatamala and the Mayan culture and delivers excellent commentary. This tour is a snapshot of Puerto Quetzal, its agra economy, local people and culture.
