  Birded with Eddy one morning near Puerto Morelos. First time birding with a guide for my adult daughter. Eddy was great. Worked hard to make sure everyone saw everything well. Naturalist knowledge and ID skills (aural and visual) were top notch. He knew where to look for the endemics and raraties. A+ morning with a very nice guy.

  Eddy wasn’t available so he recommended our guide Moises, who was just perfect! We also met up with another group and their guide Emiliano, these two together were the dynamic duo. We saw over 40 species of birds—the highlights to me included a pygmy owl, a toucan, a mot mot, and and some parakeets. Sian Kaan was lovely and virtually empty, so very chill. The guides passion for ecology was obvious and inspiring. The tour ended with a wonderful meal at a local spot. We highly recommend if you love nature!

  A truly wonderful experience. Eddy's knowledge of birds was admirable to say the least. His ability to identify birds by sound alone was impressive and the locations he brought us to lead to great sightings - pigmy owl, mot mots and 2 toucans were a real highlight.   We had a wonderful early morning birding trip with guide Moises - organised through Eddy after a private recommendation from another birding Guide (William) in Río Lagartos. We saw over 60 bird species including some rarities such as the PuffBird and a grey headed Kite - it really was a fantastic trip and Moises was such a great guide in terms of spotting the birds but also made it a lot of fun as well. 100% recommend

  Moises really knows every bird, whether in flight, singing, hidden in the leaves. Especially in the morning, Moises could show and explain many species to us. We had a great tour, saw a lot of birds and are very happy.

  we did the birding tour with Moisés. He found 42 different species of birds. A very knowledgeable guy and a good eye for the birds. I fully recommend this tour.

  My friend who is crazy about birds booked this birding experience with Eddy. I have never been on a guided bird tour before so wasn't sure what to expect. We ended up seeing 61! Different species. Both my friend who is an experienced birder and myself a newbie enjoyed the experience immensely. My favorite were the Aracari, Toucan and MottMott. Plus he kept an eBird list for us so I could go back and review what we saw later. We even saw monkeys! Breakfast was delicious! He knows his birds!

  We booked with Eddy after seeing all the amazing reviews. After a slight change of plans, and our complete understanding that life happens, Eddy could no longer make our arranged day. However, he was quick to suggest an alternative plan and we ended up going with his colleague and friend, Moisés! The experience with Moisés was absolutely FANSTASTIC!! His knowledge of the different bird species, the plant species was incredible to witness. He must have super powers when it comes to spotting birds! We saw a total of 50 bird species, 35 of which were in the first 1.5hours of the tour! He taught us some Mayan, which was truly an honour. We also went to the Muyil Archeological Site where we saw more birds and enjoyed the beauty of the ruins around us. The entry fee for that is 145MX/person (~$12cad), and then to walk down the boardwalk from the sites to the lagoon was 50MX/person. We finished off with lunch at a lovely restaurant where we had delicious tacos and refreshing drinks! Would 100/10 recommend this tour; and if Eddy suggest Moisés, say yes to the change!   Our birding trip with Eddy was exceptional and I'm still pinching myself after seeing the two target species I was hoping to see plus dozens more that weren't even on my radar. We saw over 50 NEW species in 3 hours. We saw Green Jays & Turquoise-browed Motmots & Collared Aricaris & a Keel-billed Toucan. The list goes on. I would have overlooked or missed most of these, and been unable to identify the rest of them, without Eddy's keen eyes and ears. We followed up our trip with a delightful breakfast at a roadside cafe that served us a lovely breakfast. I recommend this experience wholeheartedly.
