  This was a wonderful tour. Eddy is an incredible guide and knows all the birds by sight and sound. This is a great tour for novices looking to learn more or for experienced birders looking for lifers. Eddy goes above and beyond to help you see the bird and get the best camera shot. My husband and I had a wonderful time!

  Eddy is an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We saw over 55 species on our first birding outing with him in the Muyil area then arranged another tour with the whole family visiting Coba, a cenote and Sian Ka'an. Don't look anywhere else for a bird guide in Quintana Roo, Eddy is your guy. Reliable, always on time, great at communicating in advance but will not disappoint in finding great birds while also being honest about what to expect in the area. We have so much time for him, ( teenage) kids thought he was brilliant and when we get back to Mexico, he'll definitely be the first person we contact for more incredible birding/guided tours.

  Had a great experience with Eddy and would definitely do this again/recommend it to others. Very friendly and accommodating. Hotel pickup and drop off at the end of the day was exactly on time from what we had arranged. Transportation was comfortable for me as a tall guy. Lunch was included at a local restaurant and was delicious and hit the spot after a full morning of birding. The locations we went to had an abundance of birds and Eddy was extremely skilled at identifying their calls audibly. Eddy was great at assisting in pointing out where exactly the birds were. We ended up spotting 49 different species in the morning. He kept track of all the sightings and sent me the full list as a shared ebird checklist. He was fantastic at providing additional information about the area.

  Our family booked a birding tour with Eddy and had a great time with him. The morning started out with some rain but we continued and got to see some really great birds throughout the morning. We started out in some forest edge areas which host the most abundant species diversity. Later we hiked into deeper forest canopies and got some great views of many other species. A couple of our favorite birds were the Keel-billed Toucan and Yellow-throated Euponias. Eddy did a super job and we highly recomend him for your guide.

  Eddy is a real birding expert. He spotted and named birds before I had even seen them then helped us to locate them. He also took us to specific spots to see birds that he knew are found there. We spent several hours walking around side roads which was a perfect way to get good visibility then we headed to the biosphere where we walked along a boardwalk over a marshy area at the edge of the lagoon. The highlight of that part was a kingfisher. Then some delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Great day!

  Eddy is the best. Super knowledgeable and passionate, and kind. Saw more than 50 species, including toucans, a motmot, and pygmy owls. And local mayan lunch was perfect! Highly recommend a tour with Eddy!! There are so many regions here in Quintana Roo and the entire Yucutan Peninsula. You could have many days of birding with Eddy.

  After a boating excursion got cancelled due to potential weather, my partner and I booked a last-minute ticket for the birdwatching tour with Eddie. If I had known beforehand what I know now - the birdwatching tour would have absolutely been my first choice!! It was truly a magical experience. Eddie is so passionate and incredibly knowledgeable about the local wildlife, he surpassed all of my expectations. If somebody would have told me that by the end of my trip I would have seen Toucans, Mot Mots, Trogans and Tityras I wouldn’t have believed them. But Eddie was able to help us spot those, and many more, with relative ease throughout the tour. After a few fruitful hours of birding, we ended the outing with lunch at a delicious local spot. Although my partner isn’t as much of a fan of birding as I am, he was enthralled with the experience and left with a newfound appreciation of our feathered friends. I really can’t recommend this tour enough! I will remember it for the rest of my life and am incredibly grateful I got to experience this. If you’re considering booking this tour - do it. You won’t regret it and will leave feeling enriched, mystified, fulfilled, and more knowledgeable about a beautiful culture and a beautiful place. (Plus you’ll add all kinds of unique lifers to your list!)

  Thanks Eddie, for a wonderful morning of bird watching, you are so kind, patient and always wanting to provide us with the best experience (Helping me to find the birds with my camera for the best shots). Your knowledge of the local area and mexican birdlife is really impressive. We will definitely be recommending your services to our biding community back home in the UK.

  We had an awesome half day tour with Eddy, he has a great eye for the wildlife, great patience as we are not experts, he didn't rush us at all, was on time at our pick up, we always felt safe, and his driving was brilliant, honestly folks I'd recommend Eddy everytime, and when we return we will join him again

  Information and arrangements with local guide was quick and easy. We had to pay extra for the transport to/from the hotel with Eddy which did make the tour more expensive than originally planned, but as we were the only 2, it was a private tour throughout and better for us. We had some torrential rain while at the mangrove area, so didn't get the target species in that area. We went for breakfast then headed back as rain going off and managed a few more species. Eddy was able to spot and identify many species quickly and ensured we could see, identify and also photo as many as was possible. Overall a good morning, was a little bit expensive, and hampered with the rain, but guide adapted and was helpful throughout.
