If you want an ordinary walking Valetta tour, then there's plenty to choose from. But if you want an extraordinary walking tour, don't miss this one. Told through the mouth of a real 16th century pirate, the knights, corsairs, pirates and courtesans that shaped Valetta's colourful history are skillfully and entertainingly brought to life by your host Giacomo. Learn about the machinations of men and women, their greed, their desires and their influence. This is history as it happened in sinful detail. A truly entertaining and informative tour. Highly recommended.

3 hours well spent. Wasn't sure how it will turn out but I'm so glad I attended. I love history but this was more than just history. This was immersion in history, walking through and living it. Best way to actually learn and understand and Giacomo makes it so entertaining and interactive. Have been hundred of times to Valletta and yet never knew certain facts about the buildings I'll be passing by. Making it a point to attend all the different themed tours . Keep it up Giacomo

AMAZING IN EVERY WAY. I was going around Valletta in the evening and I spotted a pirate with sword and pistols, I had to know what was happening. And I was so lucky to stumble upon one of the most incredible and funny tour I ever had. Full of informations you will definitely not find in the museums, all delivered with wittinnes and humor. A must if you wanna see the real Valletta.

Probably one of the best tours we’ve ever been on. In the guise of a real life Corsair from historical records, our guide played the part of a Spanish scoundrel and explained the history of Valletta, not the airbrushed official record, but from the seedy underbelly of the darker alleyways and brothels. We covered the origins of the city, the politics of the era of the Knights and the dark side of how life really was in Malta complete with torture, murder, adultery, court cases, treasure, slaves and Holy Orders. A fantastic night. Well worth booking.
