Enjoy the classic Skagway tour!
Our tour will take you down Broadway, Skagway's historic main street, and we'll point out various points of interest and photo stops. As we leave Skagway, we'll climb over 3,500 feet in elevation up to the summit, where Gold Rushers had to hand-carry all their gear on their way into Canada - except you'll do it from a heated bus.
Our tour will pick up all guests and get you back in time for your ship.
Sights along the way:
- Brackets Toll road
- Pitchfork Falls
- Bridal Veil Falls
- Moore Bridge Overlook
- Welcome to Alaska sign
- Travel to the White Pass Summit
- International Falls
- Tormented Valley
- Skagway town overlook
- Drop off in town or at your ship
Our tour will have 5 to 6 photo stops along the route and we will slow down for the others. Time at stops may vary and are weather dependent. Tour is 2.5 hours in length.

Perfect tour option! Our guide, Daniel, was fantastic! He provided us with great information and we even liked his corny jokes!

Pretty drive. Not as much information as I had hoped, but our guide Hawkins, was new, but learning quickly with lots of personal stories. Good stops for photos. Simple system for picking you up and dropping you off. Bus windows fogged up in the rainy, chilly July weather. Not a lot of opportunities to use a restroom and they are portable toliets.

The tour itself was great. However lack of proper communication from Viator left much to be desired. We were given erroneous directions to meet at the tour operator’s bus. After asking no less than 3 different people did we find Skagway Tours. There are no street signs so putting a red dot on a map tells us nothing. After walking a third of a mile were then told that they were picking up at our cruise ship. Viator’s needs better communication with guests, logistical planning, and proper communication with the operator. Until Viator gets their act together, I would not recommend. Only gave 3 stars because once we finally connected with Skagway Tours, everything ran smoothly.

Our guide was outstanding. Her knowledge of the area was second to none. She even took photos so we'd have great shots to share with friends and family.

Tour’s guy was a very nice person. He tried to maximize our interests. Helped us to get best pictures possible he can.
