Tour was amazing and learning about the Salt mines was really informative. The attraction was well timed in the salt mine. Crowd size was ample. Staff were knowledgeable. The Bavarian Mountains were beautiful we had a clear day and it looked picturesque. The only down fall is they go to the town but you dont get too much time there, maybe a little longer would be good. Admission fee was well prices and the shop is reasonable to purchase items.

This was great except if you decide to take any children under 4 you will be told to stay back, even though it lets you book and pay for them. Be aware not to take any kids that age. It was very disappointing.

A really enjoyable tour. The time in the salt mines was very interesting with informative and fun commentary, the children really enjoyed themselves. The short visit to the village of Berchtesgaden was fun, nice time spent in the Christmas Market

So much more than just a tour of the salt mines! The bus takes a scenic road past the Eagles Nest with an stop for a photo opportunity, as well as stops in the town of Berchtesgaden for an hour for shopping and walking around. Being able to walk right into the Salt Mines was a huge win too as there was a LONG line of people waiting. Well worth the ticket price for the tour!

This was a must do for anyone traveling to Salzburg. It doesnt take long and well worth the money. They take you down two miners slides that make it seem like an amusement ride.

The tour was worth every penny!! It started with a trip to King’s Lake and the small town of Berchtesgaden. Both were beautiful! The salt mine at Berchtesgaden was amazing! It included a train, two slides, a boat, and a lift. The slides were very fun. The history of the mines was fascinating. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience!

We were a group of seven (unknown to each of us) English speaking travelers. The Salt Mine people put us in with a large group of German speakers and a German speaking tour guide. They gave us translators on a lanyard. Each time the group would get to a stop, the tour guide would hit a button on the wall and we would listen to a recording in our translation unit. While the rest of the group got to hear the tour guide talk. Our recording was about one minute long. While the tour guide spoke for 3-4 minutes and took questions from the group. They would all laugh in unison, while the seven of us just stood by. No effort to include us with this large German group. The last stop on the tour was the worst. The guide either forgot to hit the button for us to get English or there wasn't one. He just talked and talked with the Germans, while, again, we stood by missing everything.

We had a great time on this tour. The bus guide was excellent, spoke great English, gave clear instructions and made sure everybody was happy. The trip in the mine was good too. The only problem I had was when I was using the audio guide, I couldn't hear it very well because the guide was giving German explanations at the same time. Most of the party spoke English - very few german speakers. If the Germans also had audio guides too it would have been better. I think it was very good value for money.
