What a fun experience! Our driver, Andreas, was a great guide as we made our way to Berchtesgaden and the mine. He provided informative local colors pointing out sights and sharing information about the area in and around Salzburg. The tour itself was informative and fun. All-in-all, a very fun experience.

Really enjoyed this tour from Salzburg to Berchtesgaden and the salt mines. Susie was our driver and guide and she made the trip so interesting and lots of fun. She tailored it to our needs, pointing out interesting sights along the way, like the Eagle's Nest and lots of sights in Saltzburg which we looked for later. She was so enthusiastic and encouraged us to enjoy the salt mines, even though she didn’t actually come in with us. The mines were extensive and the train, boat and slides were real highlights of travelling through the mine. I would definitely recommend this trip for young and old alike and would recommend booking direct with Panorama Tours. We did 3 trips with them and they were all great and really well organised.

Fun trip for the family! The slide, train and short boat ride were all fun. Learned some history about salt mining too. Our guide Alenka was great! She knew a lot of history and science about the area. Very informative!

Johannes, our guide, was really knowledgeable. He took the time to bring us around and shared the history of the area, as well as lives of the people living there now. He brought us to a beautiful viewpoint for a photo, as well as recommended a cosy local shop for some schnapps. It was a nice surprise, considering I was only expecting to be brought to the salt mine. My husband and I really enjoyed the trip and will definitely love to bring our children for the trip in the future!

Really lovely and relaxed trip through the Bavarian alps to the salt mine. Mind blowing the lengths they go to to extract salt. Johannes was a lovely and well informed driver.

This was one of the highlights of our trip! Andreas was a brilliant tour guide - he provided lots of interesting information, drove us safely to each destination, and gave us lots of local tips! Andreas is extremely friendly and helpful, with a lot of knowledge about Salzburg. Thank you Andreas!! The scenery was so so beautiful - driving through the mountains with the sun shining was something we won’t forget! The town of Berchtesgaden was very picturesque with some good shops & cafes. The salt mine tour was very fun also. We had a lovely group (only 7 of us) and it was great to meet new people. Thank you for a brilliant day!! We will definitely go on another tour when we come back :)
