Cable car and train were great. Would recommend upgrading to Gold Class on the train. Minibus on time but the seats and air con had seen better days

A beautiful experience to Karanda on the cable car, stunning scenery. The days instructions on the itinerary states about 1.5 hrs in Karanda which would of been plenty but actually it was 4 hours in Karanda which was far too long. The train journey should of been at the most 2 hours after the cable car, not 4 hours . The train was also a lovely experience but the long time in Karanda which was not stated made it nearly a 12 hour day. Far to long. Especially for young children. Thank you to both coach drivers who were very friendly and knowledgeable.

This was a great way to see the vast beauty of the rainforest from the trainline that cuts through the mountainside and along the River and waterfalls and ends in the beautiful Kuranda. You'll then have about 4 hours to eat and shop and meet the lovely locals before hopping on the skyrail to enjoy the view from above. I definitely recommend allowing time to hop off at both stops before getting back to base as you will be able to see the massive waterfall up close and catch the refreshing mist it creates as well as a guided tour at the next stop. It's a big day (we got picked up at 8am and we didn't get back to the hotel until just after 6pm) so definitely hydrate, get refreshments at the station before boarding and have a good night's sleep beforehand and make sure you take a had and/or sunscreen.

The experience was ok. It was extremely hot and later in the afternoon there was a bi tropical storm. The skyrail was great, Down Under Tour's were great but the Kuranda railway was a disappointment. We understand the storm that started before boarding isn't their fault but the waiting left hundreds of passengers drowned as we weren't allowed to board until 30m even though it started raining. There wasn't enough shelter. When we boarded there was rain, thunder and lightning. After an hour and a half of waiting on the train while very wet the train was cancelled. This was due to trees on the line. That's not their fault but the way it was all dealt with was very poor. All passengers had to leave the station to go wait for buses in the rain.

We were picked up first for the day and didn’t realize it would be almost two hours with all the other pickups to make it to the Skyrail station. However, the bus was very comfortable and the driver was polite and gave good information about sights along the way and things to do in Kuranda. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride on the Skyrail and loved our time in Kuranda Village visiting the Koala Garden and Butterfly Garden. The markets are apparently closed on Monday and Tuesday so we missed out on that. We took the Scenic Railway back down and while the ride was nice, there wasn’t a lot of “scenic” locations along the way as there is a lot of brush and trees along the route. Our bus was waiting for us at Freshwater train station and then we had alot of drop offs before ours being the last. The day was 11 hours in total. Logistics were great and not having to worry about getting tickets and transport to Kuranda was nice but be prepared for a very long day.

Enjoyable experience made better by the audio commentary. Take the time to use the QR code on entry and download the app. It’s makes the experience so much better when given an understanding of what you are looking at. Absolutely loved the cassowary that you can have fun with on the app. Helpful happy staff. Highly recommend

This was so much fun especially since we didn’t know what to expect. First time experiencing a rainforest and viewing such a magnificent waterfall so close up!

Overpriced for what it is. On the day we went it broke down. Rude korey was having a power trip telling people what to do, and when we told him the line was now moving, and going again , he stopped just short of calling liars. Had to get the lovely manager to sort him out.

We went up on the Skyrail – Altogether this was a great day trip, however quite expensive if you have a family. We thought the Skyrail was excellent, travelling through and over some great scenery and saw what they say is the world’s oldest rainforest - overall this ride was value for money.
