This was a trip visiting 3 attractions- the van was comfortable with Jorge driving smoothly. My wife uses a walker and he was very attentive and helpful .Nazarus, our guide, was pleasant and gave us some information about the attractions. The Xochimilio boat ride was the first- the canal was quiet which we liked.- the ride was enjoyable. Because of traffic and starting an hour late, we couldn’t spend time at the NAM university - could not go up close to the wall murals which was one of the main reasons for us to book this tour. That was disappointing! The Coyoquan walking tour was brief . Lunch at the Coyoquan market was good. We then finished with the Frida Kahlo blue house visit which was fantastic. Most of the explorations were in English so could understand. Given the heavy traffic, not able to cover all 3 attractions fully. Would do 1 or 2 of the attractions at one time.

This tour was everything we wanted for a day trip visit to Coyoacán, floating gardens, and Friday Kahlo house. Great guide provided historical narrative during drive, allowed for time to visit market, eat locally, & see other sites. We were impressed with driver’s skill & patience through Mexico City traffic that we found a bit overwhelming.

Our tour guide 0, Patricia (Pato) was so impressive -her in-depth historical knowledge of Mexico along with her shared experience of Mexican culture made for a very interesting and informative outing. Thanks to Pato ( her nickname and a great story ) we were given one on one opportunities at each stop. I am 78 and it was a long day for me however well worth the time

It was nice to ride a trajinera But the guide didn't provide much information. Those of us who were able to enter the Frida Museum we missed knowing the beautiful Coyoacán Everything is very rushed and no time to appreciate things They should give more time in Coyacan

We have been traveling around the USA and Mexico and this was by far my favorite tour so far. Our guide, Monserat, was AMAZING! She was warm, welcoming and so knowledgeable and passionate. The tour itself was well organised. We spent just the right amount of time in every location. Even my teenagers enjoyed it!

A lot of time spent in a bus, which we expected as Mexico City is a large city, but way too much time was spent in picking people up (we were picked up at 8:15am, last couple was picked up at 9:15am, so first hour of our trip was not a tour at all, just logistics). First they took us to a random metal and jewelers worker’s shop, which was nice but not on the tour description, out of the way of the main attractions, and clearly an effort to get us to buy merch at the store. There was a 5 min metal etching presentation, which was interesting, but not worth the nearly 60 min we spent getting there, visiting the store, and then continuing with our trip. We then went to the University to look at murals, which was nice, but again, the logistics were poor. They dropped us off by the stadium, we then walked to the other side of the campus park to look at murals, and at last mural there was an empty parking lot, but instead of our bus being there to pick us up, we had to walk back to the original drop off point, so what could have been a 30 min visit stretched out to almost an hour. We finally got to the first “main attraction” - the Xochimilco waterways and gardens. It took almost another hour to get us on the boat and out of the dock area (although not sure our tour operators could have done anything about it, as logjam was due to the many boats trying to fit through a very narrow opening into the canal from the docs - think of it as a 6-lane highway merging into one lane). That said, they brought us drinks and took our lunch orders while we sat on the boat waiting to get to the canal, which was fun and festive, so we didn’t mind the wait as much and had a good time meeting and socializing with the rest of the group. That said, all the delays and logistical challenges meant that we didn’t get to the main reason for the trip - the Frida Kahlo house and museum - until 3:45pm, and thus only had 30-40 min to visit the house (and zero time to visit the neighborhood of Coyoacán - which some group members chose to do instead of the museum). As such, we were rushed and couldn’t help thinking how much time we wasted earlier in the day that would have been better spent visiting the museum for longer AND visiting Coyoacan (instead of limited time doing one or the other). If we had to do it over again, we would have taken a private tour which, while slightly more expensive, would have made the trip significantly more enjoyable.

Not what we were expecting according to the description. Instead of going straight to the three things advertised, they stopped at a couple of unnecessary locations. Although we started at 9am, we didn’t arrive at Xochimilco until around 12pm. Boarded the boat and entered an extremely crowded canal, which was not enjoyable. After finally returning to the dock, we were only allowed 15 minutes for shopping, not enough time. We traveled to Coyoacán and had about 20 minutes to look around before the Frida Kahlo museum. Once we finished our self guided tour, we had only about 20 minutes to do any local shopping. This trip was not worth it. The wasted time stopping at useless locations would have been better spent allowing for more time at the three primary locations. I would not recommend this tour, you’d be better off taking a private tour with exactly what you want to see. Also, the van that we rode in was not very clean and was tight quarters.

We left early and then went to a shop…. There were interesting parts, stops at the university, the stadium, but the main event, the boat trip was very touristy, selling food, selling jewellery, the mariachi bands were not enjoying it any more than us. Interestingly, the Mexicans and some others found it very enjoyable but the Anglos not so much. Definitely couldn’t recommend this trip

Tour guide was very informative and receptive to questions. He even waited in line with me to ensure I got in to the Frida Kahlo Museo. Definitely worth it. Only thing I didn’t like was being constantly badgered to buy something while on the boat in Xochimilco, but that’s just the way it is.
