Meet and our centre "Riverbanc" and we'll do the rest. From start to finish you'll be in very safe hands. What To Expect
A UNESCO world heritage site you'll experience this as it's meant to be, from the water's edge. We will transport you from our center and along with our instructor you will experience the wonder of this amazing venue. During this 2 1/2 hour session you will be guided along some fantastic sections of the Shropshire Union Canal finishing over the Pontycysyllte Aqueduct.

5.00We had a lovely trip canoeing down the canal and over the viaduct with Ryan. He was super friendly and knowledgeable and made the trip really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone considering it.

5.00Great instructors, lots of fun and a memorable trip. We did this as two adults and two teenagers. And dispute the occasional hail and rain they both enjoyed and didn’t complain.

5.00I went on a canoe day experience with my friend and we paddled over the aquaduct near Llangollen. This was the most amazing day. We got all kitted up with buoyancy aids and had a short mini bus ride to the canal. We had a brief demonstration on how to manoeuvre the canal and a run through the rules, then we set off!!! We stayed together as a group paddled in the beautiful scenery and crossed the aquaduct. We stopped and got out of our boats for a look a craft stalls at the side of the canal and had coffee. We went back to our boats, paddled a bit more then got into a mini bus and went back to the start. This was such an amazing day... The sun shone and I spent the best day with my friend.

5.00Thoroughly enjoyable trip and amazing views, A short trip in the van to get to the starting point where we unloaded the kayaks from the trailer and into the river. Very easy day paddling back and fourth. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Llangollen. The team were very friendly and knowledgeable of the history of the River and it's surroundings.

5.00Booked as a surprise for my husbands 30th week away in Wales. We had such a great time despite the rain! I wanted to mention accessibility as I am an ambulant wheelchair user and couldn’t find any info online and other companies said not accessible. I directly messaged the company who were fast at responding and confirmed they would be able to accommodate me. I sat on the edge of the canal, swung my legs into the canoe, put my hands on either side of the canal and transferred onto the seat easily. To get out I needed to stand up and then turn and sit back down on the edge of the canal which was a little trickier but manageable. The instructor helped keep the canal still and my partner was able to aid me. I then needed to stand up from the floor which is difficult but overall a success. If you are able to stand from sitting I’d say you’re able to participate. My husband did most of the paddling, he was able to learn how to steer for the both of us and I just contributed what I could with my limited strength. Overall, a fab activity and the aquaduct was simply beautiful! November was actually a great time as the canal was very quiet. I wrapped up in several layers and was warm. We were the only ones in the group but it was still a fun time and I felt it was a fair price point.
