Here you can find the greatest treasures collected by the Spanish royal family throughout centuries: paintings that changed art history forever or some of the most popular masterpieces of all times, like 'The Garden of Earthly Delights' by Hieronymus Bosch. This museum houses the best collection of paintings by Goya, the first great modern artist. You'll enjoy Rafael, El Greco, Caravaggio or Brueghel the Elder. And of course, here you will be amazed by the masterpiece that is regarded to be the best painting in world art history: 'Las Meninas', by Velázquez.

Fantastic guided tour. I came away with a whole new perspective of viewing fine art. The Prado’s masterpieces were fabulous, but Pablo’s art lesson, was remarkable! I highly recommend this tour. It is worth every penny.

Pablo was incredibly kind and engaged, and his English was perfect. What I found most valuable is that he approached our visit to the Prado not as a chance to tick boxes of famous works we'd see, but rather a chance to guide us through the history of art using key examples from the Prado's collection. He carefully curated some of the best works in the museum to craft a story, and a lesson, about not just the evolution of art but of our emotional engagement with art. He was a top-notch guide.

The tour with Pablo was excellent. He has totally changed the way I look at paintings and visit a gallery. He is so knowledgeable but carries it lightly and shares it with ease. He is an excellent communicator and the small numbers on his tour, make it very personal and easy to discuss the art work. I would highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely outstanding in every respect. We had done many tours throughout our three weeks in Spain and our guide, Pablo, was the best by far (of our many good guides). He gave our small group of six an education in the importance and significance of about a dozen select works/artists and how each strongly influenced generations of art and artists going forward. About the best two hours you can spend in Madrid!

He was excellent in explaining the most important pieces from an artists perspective. To try to see The Prada without this man would have been a waste. Knowing the rooms, the art and the artists gave an unforgettable trip.

Pablo was a fascinating guide to the Prado and provided unique insights about art history as well as how to interpret artworks in general. We enjoyed every minute of the tour and highly recommend it. The tour group was only 7 which provided easy opportunities for interaction. A highlight of our visit to Madrid.

The best trip of all!!! It was very worth it, even because it makes no use to get to Prado without a notion of what to see

Fantastic! Pablo’s tour was recommended to me by a friend and was one of the main reasons for my trip to Madrid. I have to say he did not disappoint! Really insightful, interesting and in depth. Amazing discussions and it was so interesting to learn more about some of my favourite paintings.
