Cycle through the beautiful Dutch countryside and along the stunning tulip and Spring flower fields in this 3.5 hour small group cycling tour. Departing from Alkmaar's city centre, your guide will take you out into the flower growing area located only a few kilometres away, staying on dedicated cycle paths as much as possible. This is a must see for anyone who has ever wanted to experience the beauty of Spring in the Netherlands!
**Please note that bike rental is not included in the cost of the tour**

Due to the physical nature of this tour, the minimum age is 16 years
Bike helmets are not available to rent. If you want to wear a helmet then you must bring one with you.
All participants will be required to complete a Liability Waiver prior to the tour's commencement
Tours will be cancelled if a weather warning has been issued within 24 hours of the tour or if the winds exceed 29km/hr or 4 on the scale of Beaufort.
Please dress appropriately for the tour. Bikes include small bags where you can store belongings.
Participants must be physically fit enough to confidently cycle +/-20km
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00Jen was utterly amazing. She was flexible, kind, knowledgeable, and comforting. Prior to our trip, she checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable with the light wind and after gave us directions to a bike shop. She took us out of the way, to a beach area, for us to see the cows and horses. She also brought us to a friend’s farm to take actual photos inside the fields. She checked in with us frequently to make sure we were ok with the ride, satisfied with the sights, and offered snacks / water. She was patient with my frequent photo taking. This was our most magical experience of our week long trip. It will stay with me forever!

5.00Excellent tour with Jen!! She took the time to customize the trip for us and ensured that we had a safe, comfortable route to follow as we visited the most BEAUTIFUL tulip farms imaginable. It was unreal and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Amsterdam/Alkmaar. Jen also provided delicious snacks and gave excellent lunch recommendations after the tour! 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam, Alkmaar or the surrounding region!!

She did an awesome job taking us to beautiful fields and we went up to the lookout point to see the field colors from above and the sand dunes! She also provided numerous recommendations of things to do in town and around the Netherlands! Highly recommend booking a tour with Jen!

5.00Do not miss! The beauty of the bike ride to the tulip farms was worth it alone. The different tulip fields were amazing. And Jen was a wonderful guide. She knows a lot about the area and is very friendly and a great host. She even walked us around the town a bit after the ride to make sure we didn’t miss anything.

I emailed Jen with many questions and concerns. She was consistently timely and thorough in her responses. She went far beyond my expectations to tailor make a fabulous cycling day. As a novice rider, I found Jen to be highly organized, knowledgeable, supportive, encouraging and fun. She provided an incredibly interesting tour with a variety of sights to see. We had such a great experience we immediately booked a second day with Jen. If you are looking for a cycling tour, look no further!
