As someone who is very interested in this period of history, and in particular Operation Anthropoid, this tour did not disappoint. Our tour guide Allen was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and provided a background to how we ended up going to war in the first place, and later the plan to assassinate Heydrich. He told the story, much of which is quite upsetting in a very human way, and in a way which my wife (who isn't necessarily a world war 2 enthusiast) found very interesting and easy to follow. The tour culminated at St Cyril and St Methodius church where Czech paratroopers (2 of whom carried out the attack on Heydrich) hid in the crypt, and were eventually betrayed. A very sombre place, but a privilege to visit and pay respects. A highly recommended tour.

Our guide, Allen, is not only deeply passionate about the subject but also exceptionally well versed in both the historical context of the events that preceded the Anthropoid story and the complex details of the story itself. He connects at a most human level with his guests and is a delightful individual to spend time with. An excellent and moving presentation. Well worth the time and money. We will hopefully see him again one day in Prague.

If you’re a fan of history this tour is a must. Daniel is a wonderful guide and extremely knowledgeable. Do a general walking tour and tour of the Jewish quarter, of course. Next, you should do this.

For all enthusiasts of WW2, this is a must. The tour concentrates on specifics regarding Operation Anthropoid, thus you can learn something new even if you have a broad knowledge of WW2. Daniel does a great job explaining those specifics.

A very worthwhile educational experience. After initially setting the WW2 scene, Dan took us through the full picture of the planning, build-up and execution of Operation Anthrapoid, the repercussions and events following. He was sure to follow the events in chronological order which helped to in some way relive the events of the time. An excellent tour led by a knowledgeable and experienced guide. Thank you Dan.

Very interesting tour, our guide Dan is very knowledgeable and his English was very good. Not only did he explain a lot of things related to the tour. He also pointed out some things for us as we were walking around, which made it even more interesting. He’s an extremely nice young man and bright the history of World War II alive for us.
