What To Expect

Enjoy a fun day out on the ocean, engaging with turtles, marine life and nature with our ecologically conscious Swim with Turtles Tour! Our tour begins with a 20min boat ride to Cook Island Aquatic Reserve (Joongurra-Narrian). The reserve lies approximately 600m off the shore of Fingal Head, NSW. It is a foraging ground to a significant number of sea turtles. The numbers are so significant that the island was originally named Turtle Island. It is here that we will dive in and meet these turtally awesome locals! The surrounding waters of the reserve are also home to a wide variety of subtropical and temperate species of fish, crustaceans, and rays – just to name a few! Prepare to be awed by the magical underwater world that lies here on our doorstep! CANCELLATION POLICY: If you wish to cancel or reschedule your tour, you must contact us by phone at least 24 hours before your tour start time. Late cancellations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. REFUND POLICY: We are unable to refund the booking or card fees you may incur if a full refund is granted. PLEASE NOTE: we operation on QLD time. All tour times are listed as such.

Absolutely amazing experience. The guides were fantastic. Highly recommend, got to see so many turtles and a couple of sharks. Was awesome will be back as soon as possible.

Highly recommend- small group, informative and friendly guides, so many turtles plus bonus pod of dolphins, blue starfish and lots of fish too. The water was so clear. Fabulous experience. Thank you 🙏

What an amazing day out with the crew from Cooly Eco adventures. From start to finish the staff were amazing , very friendly and shared knowledge and experience of what we would be doing for the day . The boat ride out was awesome. And the island itself beautiful. And omg we did see my absolute favourite the sea turtle my first time swimming with these beautiful creatures and they did not disappoint. Wow wow wow . The only sad part was the camera died so not photos of the turtles . But what a great memory and experience to have had. Thank you so much to the crew of Cooly eco adventures . We loved every minute of it. Highly recommend and would do it again in a heartbeat . Just amazing .

Great experience, crew were helpfull and explained everything very well. Saw turtles plus lots of other sea life including a couple of small sharks, star fish and plenty of colourfull fish including a puffer fish. The only thing i would maybe expected was a bottle of water to be provided although the fruit was well recieved.

Had a great time conquering my fear today of going into the deep ocean! The lads were very professional and knowledgeable! made me feel super comfortable and safe! Highly recommend this experience! Saw sharks, turtles, squid and lots of fish!

Just completed this amazing experience with our skipper Corey and snorkelling guide Hunter and it was fantastic, lots of beautiful marine life , turtles, star fish and even sleeping baby wobbegong and leopard sharks , to top it off we witnessed some dolphins swimming merrily next to the boat on the way back. The team were very attentive and nothing was too much. My husband is a nervous sea swimmer and they made sure he was comfortable and ok at all times. We will definitely be back to taste some more of this companies excursions. Thanks again guys for a amazing sea adventure. All the best Emma
